here is a link to some photos of some of the minis I am working on at the moment.

The spider is Shelob from the GW line. I liked the size of her and decided to use her as a Gaint spider in my D&D game, instead of shelob. I am also thinking of painting the bilbo and coccoon Frodo that came with it along with Shelob and stick them all in a Diarama.. and keeping the same paint job that I have for her. I think it would look cool... especially with all the thoughts and ideas running through my head for the dairama now :)

The Leprechaun is from the Leprechauns by Reaper. I really am liking how he is turning out too.. I still have to do the base, as with most of the minis I am showing you guys/gals in this album :)

The Minotaur is a WIP and needs to have some more things done to it such as the base.. the feet and the belt.. and a few odd highlights and shadows.

The Female elf with bow is definately a work in progress.. and needs alot to be done yet.. but I thought that I would post it any way :)

The Burgomeister is one of my favorites.. and I have some touchups to do on the belt and a few things like the face and suchbut I am really loving how he is turning out as well. I love this especially for an NPC in my campaign right now.

The fighter is turning out really well. I have to do the base on him but I really like the colors and most of the shading and highlighting as well. I think he turned out well and is one of my favorite paint jobs thus far. I just wish the camera did not photograph this so badly as it did.. it is not nearly as shiny as the photo implies.

The Hobgoblin/goblin dude was painted for a freind of mine for his character in my game. I think he turned out well. I am going to paint the base black for utilatarian purposes but other then that he is done. as well.

I wish my camera was a tad better.. and I had finished the bases before doing this.. but I just got into a mood and decided that I should put something up here to show my efforts... though I am kind of embarrassed seeing as how well everyone else does.. in comparison. Especially with most of the photographs that are so well done with the labels and such to protect thier work. I want to learn how to do that :)

I am looking to buy a new camera.. one that I can use better controls on.. such as a Digital SLR

as always any comment welcome of course :)

Thanks in advance

Thanks.. yea the spider was an endeaver of fun.. I tried to paint it different then the typical black widow spider I have seen some of my childhood friends used to paint when I was a kid.. and came up with something like that.. it was fun!!

I appreciate your comments too!

Anyone else have any? I would really like some criticisim from anyone to see where I could improve?

I know the pictures are bad and I apologize for them :)

They look pretty darn good to me. ::): As for suggestions:

Spider, really like it as is, personally.

Minotaur, in the photo (I know they can be deceptive), the loincloth seems to be a little close in color to the flesh for my taste.

Viking, again imo by the photo, the flesh looks a little yellow to me against the beautiful blue you chose.

I love the leprechaun. (maybe lighten the boots a tad?)

I really like the color choices on the female archer, good start.

Anyone I left out of the above individually looks good too, these just stood out of the "crowd" to me for one reason or another. :;):

Can't wait to see more of your work.

Thanks for the comments! Yea the loincloth is a little close to the color of the minotaur.. and I am thiking of going a little lighter with it.. just to give some contrast.. but want to keep it as natualr as possible though.. maybe make it like himan skin instead of normal leather?

As far as the Viking the Flesh is not that yeallow I think the photo kind of throws it off. I will try and take a different picture :)

Thank you again for the comments! :)
