The cleric has to make the roll of an 8 (friendly model modifier) or better to succeed in healing the stunned model.

That is if your cleric has a CP of 6 . You add 2 for casting on a friendly model plus your CP and the dice roll (d10) , and if the result is 10 or more , yep the model gets back up . ::D:

While you're not incorrect Vil-hatarn your phrasing might lead to some confusion, so let me clarify.

In order to successfully cast a non-attack spell you need to meet or beat a 10. To attempt this you roll a d10 and add your CP to the roll; if a 10 is met or beaten then the spell is successful.

Modifiers always change the rolling player's stat, not affect the target number.

This isn't quite correct.

Non-Attack spells require you to equal or beat a 10.

You gain +2 CP to spells cast on friendly units.

Attack spells require you to equal or beat the defending models MD.

actually you get a +2 bonus to your casting check when casting a non attack spell on a friendly model, not a +2 cp bonus

just trying to avoid confusion :P
