Nameless
I hope, that Reaper guys finally decide to release sf/modern line. It could be AICom line (even without rules) or generic Dark Heaven Future. What I would like to see though are different fantasy races in different sf settings. Cyperpunk dwarfs. Space Opera dwarfs. Post-apocalyptic dwarfs. Modern Dwarfs. Cyberpunk elves...orcs... Space Opera elves...orcs etc. Come on, Reaper. Try to release something like this. I prefer fantasy. I love both DHL and WL lines. Still, how long can you release same models? When will you start to resculpt resculpts? I'm afraid Reaper will start eating its own tail. Sf models would surely bring some new clients to Reaper. I also believe, that such model would be better sellers that stuff like egyptian statues. Give it a try. You can always stop releasing sf models after testing sells on few models. SaintRigger
Gimp - actually there are a few companies doing rocketmen and zepplin troopers. :)
Goodgame
I'd like to see Reaper make some Shadowrun-esque figures, or just techno-sprues for converting their fantasy ones for Shadowrun/fantasy gangsters.
Nanite
I'd like to see Reaper make some Shadowrun-esque figures, or just techno-sprues for converting their fantasy ones for Shadowrun/fantasy gangsters. Brilliant idea. They wouldn't require a new line or new cards, just a couple modern-future accessory sprues on DHL cards. Something like Hasslefree's weapons/accesory srpues, only at slightly less premium prices?
Lars Porsenna
I think fantasy races in SF get-up is a bit overdone. I can buy space dwarves from multiple suppliers, as well as space elfs. I think I would MUCH rather see a strong, generic SF line, complete with aliens that are actually alien, not humans in funny rubber masks... Damon. Goodgame
Yes, although it's looking like Battlewagon Bitz has the plastic GW accesories so cheap, it might not be so profitable. Still I think I'd definitely buy some deckers, and true street samurai in Reaper's cool fantasy style. Sprues for hacker laptops, comm gear, bootleg magic items, cybernetic additions (eyes, arms, legs, brain chips), and modernistic urban firearms (submachine guns, etc..) would be great. Maybe tattoo transfers? And nobody seems to do the Shadowrun Amerinds in 28mm except the semi-defunct Shockforce (Venaquan). The Ironwind (old Ral) Shadowrun are nice, but definitely not up to 28mm+, so Reaper has some room to move in on that. Warlord-Necromunda is a definite possibility too (and GW pretty much doesn't support it anymore). I think fantasy races in SF get-up is a bit overdone. I can buy space dwarves from multiple suppliers, as well as space elfs. I think I would MUCH rather see a strong, generic SF line, complete with aliens that are actually alien, not humans in funny rubber masks... Damon. That'd be neat...an alien of the month club...one new race available in different stock varieties each month----adventurer, guard/military, villain, spaceship crewperson, civilian. Cyberpunk fantasy isn't as well populated as the space opera fantasy, at 28mm+.
Erion
Now that we're on the cusp of the CAV2 rules release, I'd REALLY like to see some generic-type vehicles (cars, cargo trucks, tanker trucks), weapon emplacements, and other structures (Buildings, Refineries, etc) made to-scale with the game models. There are a few companies doing generic sci-fi terrain in n-scale, but a line of CAV-sized stuff from a company with Reaper's reputation for quality miniatures could really tap that market. Maybe even do a rules supplement with stats for those sorts of thing, free to CAVHQ or as a printed book.
Sergeant_Crunch
I think I remember somebody mentioning there would be generic vehicle stats, but I may be mistaken.
Erion
I think I remember somebody mentioning there would be generic vehicle stats, but I may be mistaken. As do I, but that was before CAV2 went into super-hyper-revsion-mode in May. Who knows what got added/dropped in that time? Besides, it never hurts to let them know the demand is still there. Baphomet69
My top 3: Shadowrun Call of Cthulhu Traveller (both figs and ships) Obviously these have all been done before, but not to the standard that Reaper has set. And Reaper couldn't get the licenses for these as at least two of the lines are currently active, but do 'generic' versions that fit these 3 games...PUHLEEEZE! I've always wanted GOOD figures for these three games (Grenadier used to make some pretty good figures for these, but...well, we know where that went...). The other companies that have done models for these games have never impressed me. By the way, what scale are the CAV figures? I haven't been able to find it listed anywhere... Erion
CAV is N-Scale (approx. 1/160).

Call of Cthulhu is being done in 28/30mm by RAFM still in their Modern Day Heroes line (Which is bloody brilliant as they borrow from all sorts of pop-culture movies and comic references). I do use the old CoC models for pulp gaming, though. But one can never have too many pulp investigator, monster hunter, icky things and other weirdness.
