primeval
Way to spread the word on REH over on this forum, Prime! Second that - keep it comin', primeval! I am just glad it doesn't look like anime - have you seen that Red Sonja one-shot cover done anime style? Looks awful! No, I haven't. It doesn't seem to be on the Dynamite website (now why doesn't that surprise me?). Number #2 apparently ships at the end of this month, they say. I like Mel Rubi's artwork! I reckon this series is a nice contrast and really great companion line to Dark Horse's Conan! Even though whoever is repsonsible for Releasing The Gear On Time deserves to burn at the stake, I'm liking the comics so far enough to want to keep getting the rest when (if) they arrive. *Any news on that "Age of Conan" PC game? Tommy. Here is a link to pictures of the covers for Red Sonja Goes East - the one on the right is the one I was referring to. http://www.newsarama.com/forums/showthread...?threadid=40905
Decado
Its great to see a REH following on the board. I got the new anthology a while back from the SFBC. I have not had a chance to read it yet but it is on my list. I am glad to hear the new Hyborian novels are good, I will have to pick them up soon as well. Is anyone playing the new Conan RPG from Mongoose games? I have a rough campaign outline written up but I have not played the game yet. Any word on when The Red nails animated movie is due for release? Decado
Decado
On Friday (payday) I am hitting various stores looking for the novels and the McFarlane figures, they rock! I am really leaning towards starting a Conan campaign once I finish my current Greyhawk campaign. I have a majority of the rpg books, more then enough to get me started. Something about the setting just keeps inspiring me. In fact I think I will write the introduction to the first Conan adventure today while it is fresh in my mind. primeval
Although technically not a REH creation, Red Sonja is also enjoying a revival sorts. Dynamic Forces is putting out a comic, and although they aren't keeping on schedule very well it has been good so far. primeval
Wow, that was brilliant of me Mention the comic once and then post again as if it was something completely new to this thread Must be all the brush-licking.....
Decado
My search yesterday was a partial success. I was able to buy two Conan figures from Series 2 and one from Series 1 that is now out of stock on Spawn.com. The King Conan on a throne looks awesome and I am in hopes to find it in a store somewhere now that it is out of stock. Decado
lionmane
I've got the one on the throne...it's very cool. I pre-ordered it, so I had one on hold for me when it was released. Hope you find one, brother.

Decado
I met with more success today. At Newbury Comics I bought King Conan, Man-Eating Haunter of the Pits and Pallantides. I have a Belit on order from Tower Records but their stock is very low so I am keeping my fingers crossed. No luck finding Zenobia, unless I want to buy all of Series 2 in a set. Primeval, thanks for the link. I have never had muchh luck with ebay but I am keeping my options open! Is there any word on a Series 3 for next year? lionmane
If you want to avoid the hassle of not finding figures and such, pick up a copy of "Previews"from your local comic shop. It's a monthly catalog that shows stuff that's supposed to come out in about 2 months. You can order stuff and then pay for it when it comes in. That's how I've gotten Conan figures and statues in the past.

Do they have a website? Tommy. They are made by McFarlane - here is a link to the series 2 figures: Conan series 2 And series 1: Conan series 1 They make some cool dragons too - not sure how big they are but they might make good dragons for gaming if the size is right. Decado
Lionmane, thanks for the tip. I will definately have to check out that magazine. Tommy, the majority of these figures are from the Conan stories. The only ones not in the books are from Series 1 Skifell and Svadun. Decado
Belit and King Conan arrived today. Great service from Tower Records and KB Toys. The hunt for Zenobia continues, I think I am going to have to hit ebay. Decado
