ugluk69
Here are some 20mm Russians that I painted. I can't remember who made em but to give you an idea of their size they are mounted on pennies. None of the minis came with the furry ushanka hats so I cut a few hemets off and sculpted some out of green stuff.....

Niloc
Wow ugluk69, these guys are great The only thing I change is the color of the penny bases ... a sharp contrast of dark green flock (drybrushed) would make them pop (IMHO). Nice GS job for the ushanka hat. Great job on the 20mm minis. Thanks for sharing.
matsumoto
"For the people's liberation of the motherland from the feet of the iron hearted nationaist facist oppressor!!!" "there are two men: one with a rifle, the other follows. the one with the rifle shoots, the other follows. when the man with the rifle is dead, the other picks up the rifle, and SHOOTS THE RIFLE!..." they need to make unarmed russian soldiers and russian winterclad peasants for WWII infantry... Yukimura
Interestingly enough - i just watched "Enemy at the Gates" last night - great flick. Even though the Soviets lost much more men in WW2 then any other country - they were still at the highest military strength at the end of the war - thats why Truman and Churchhill didnt protest when Stalin gobbled up half of Europe for himself.
