ForceCommander
I'm still not sure how I feel about gunships being effected by the pass-through.... I definitely understand it in the 'lets not add a bunch of exceptions to the rules' train of thought.... but it just doesn't feel right simply because the odds that a gunship is going to be at an appropriate height at the moment the shot goes off seems vanishingly small. That said, I'm not terribly concerned about it. But, it might be worth an official clarification, just to head off jack-assery by rules-lawyer type players! Chrome
I've editted my above post so many times I forgot what I was trying to say! I don't have a problem w/all Gunships or all Tanks with any combination of CAVs. However, both Gunships and tanks/vehicles are a concern, unless a RGC is putting more than one slug downrange at a time, which is certainly possible! ForceCommander
Could we just propose ammending the rule with "subsequent targets must be the same size or larger than the initial target"? Jamie
Saint of Sinners
Anyone conceded that maybe the pilot in the wrecker is activily aiming through the first target to hit the 2nd target?
FreeFall
or it could just be that the shot passes at an elevation equal to the first target. Target one is a CAV/Gunships: Other CAVs, Gunships or Infantry/tanks sitting on Elevation 1 are affected. Target one is a Tank/Infantry: Other CAVs, Infantry or Tanks not sitting on Elevation 1 are affected.
