Kormydigar
The world could use some female goblins. Reaper could produce some pretty sweet ones I am sure. I did an online search and have not found a single female goblin produced by ANY manufacturer. If I am wrong about that, someone please point it out and let me know who has the goods. Thanks. The total lack of female goblins has given me an idea that I haven't yet sculpted. What if they are like ants with just one huge fat queen carefully hidden away somewhere and giving birth to billions and billions of little gobbos? Sort of like "the Kelda" among the NacMacFeegles but considerably more grotesque. So that's the way I intend to make my female goblin.

mgmaranda
To bring this discussion back on topic. I think it would be really interesting to see; a few non-clerical Dwarven spell casters. That includes Dwarven Magi, Dwarven Bards, and maybe even a Dwarven Psion. Preferably these Dwarves could be of either the male or female persuasion. KeithBVaughn
A couple of requests for some of us dedicated figure converters. 1) weapon sprues of modern and high tech weapons. This would make conversion to a science fiction mini relatively painless. If the sprue would have: pistol, submachine gun, rifle and some type of bazooka. This would make conversion from swords and maces to pistols and anti-tank weapons easier. The other day I paged through Casket Works and came up with 20+ minis that could be converted to Gamma World or aliens by a simple weapon swap. (and a trip to the boneyard!) 2) Science fiction generics: jump suits, knee boots and vaccumn suits. The general drake looks too much like a World War II figure for my tastes (some berets at least?) The generic weapons set would go well with this. 3) Posed nudes for conversion. Leave the "naughty" bits out, but some nudes that show an athlete's musculature-not a body builders-would help when trying to do a mini that is minimally clothed. A few different heights and builds would help too: mesomorph, ectomorph and endomorph. The reason I mention this is I'm doing a Planetary Romance game (Barsoom stuff) and needing minimal clothed figures is a necessity. I've converted your barbarians but the bodybuilder look makes them too thick to bend and repose without massive cutting and pinning. Thanks for the consideration, Keith P.S. The satyr and satyress sound like a fun idea for a small vigenette.
Jonas Withabee
Ooh, Puritan Witch Hunters, a la Robert E. Howard's Solomon Kane. They could be armed with matchlock pistols, and archaic muzzle loading long rifles. And cutlasses, or hatchets. One would deifintely need a torch. I think the high crowned, broad brimmed Puritan hats would look cool. You could forego the big buckles, but the cloak and mantle look would be pretty ginchy. ~J
Turhan
I agree we need a few more Puritan Avenger types. I just finished a conversion of Abram Duskwalker from sword and hammer to Sword and Lantern-hanging-from-chain. Turned out ok, and it can fit my gaming as well as collecting needs. Let's have a fellow with the broad brim hat, knee high boots and his saber or cutlass casually resting on his shoulder. Simple leather garb and a cloak hanging straight down. Another with the sword half drawn from his scabbard. Torches are ok, but I'm a fan of lanterns. A lantern on a pole is good. And I like the idea about a few rifles and pistols: flintlocks or wheellocks. And a Planchet-type lackey carrying nothing but long rifles and a shoulder bag full of champagne. Darkstar
I second the Sci-Fi weapons sprue idea. Except for with the addition of more high tech weaponry like Laser guns/pistols, Plasma guns/pistols, Ray guns/pistols, Power swords/axes/clubs as well as grenades and pouches. Even in the DM's guide for 3.5 D&D they have charts and stats for high tech weapons...I'm sure some people use that sort of thing for their campaigns? Reaver
Yea, sci fi addons sound rather snazy. Even clockwork items that could still fit in with the fantasy theme would be good, maybe some dwarves that fit in with the clockwork theme - like having some strange gear clad armor. I also noticed in the monster manual a creature called a 'clockwork horror' - a small mechanical spider with a razor saw, powered by a crystal on its head. just an idea...
