ugluk69
Yagun had just crested the hill when he saw them......a group of five elven archers and a Sergeant huddled together about to rain death on the Goblin skeeters below. The elves had not seen him yet and he thought to himself "Should I unleash a fireball before or after the elves kill the skeeters?" He secrectly relished watching the goblins die, they were so annoying, but they did serve a purpose. Without another thought Yagun cast a torrent of flame that engulfed the elves. Yagun proceeded down the opposite side of the hill amidst the screams of dying elves and the smell of burnt flesh as the skeeters fletched the elven sergeant as he attempted to flee........

LordColdsteal
He looks really good. Your color choices are excellent. I would suggest a different shade of leather for the belt to make it a bit different then the fur, but other then that, this guy is really good. I like the color of your background too. Your photography is getting much better.
Jabberwocky
Strong work. I especially like the blue crystal.
Niloc
How did I miss this post Really nice skin tone and the crystal is bang on. Great job ugluk69. Thanks for sharing. Keep painting, post often
Deus_Omega
Nice job there ugluk... the only thing I can see is you went a little "out of the lines" with the steel paint on the staff. How long does it take you to paint up a bunch of guys like this (as in hours per mini)? I'm looking at doing a 25mm Byzantines army and I think this might be the way to go. Mojoman
I like the strong emotion portrayed by this guy... he looks really PO'd! Nice shading on the musculature. All in all... great work... as usual! (sniffle, sniffle... wish I could paint like Ugluk) Mojo
ugluk69
Deus u r right I see my boo boo, rest assured I have fixed it thanks to you. Oh and I painted Yagun in about 2 1/2 hours give or take. If you did assembly line painting you could get 4 byzantine skutari done in about 3 1/2 to 4 hours with the dip tech.
Spike
Yagun Ooooooooooooooooooooog.. Yours looks really great! The skin colour and the crystal (yeah it's been said before but I'll say it again)..they both are perfect..and as always you've done a fine job of bringing out all the details on the model. I like the story. I can imagine Mr. Oog biding his time while a few more skeeters bite the dirt before he wades in and dispatches the elves. He's eeeeeeeeeeeeeevil.. but I still love him. ugluk69
Well in the last two battles Yagun has killed 11 Nefsokar. Three dervishes, one tomb guard with Ice shards, 4 Tomb guards with Fire storm, and Anubis guard, a Tomb guard anf finished off Netikerti in HTH. He is quite nasty........ Your photography is getting much better. I have to echo Coldsteel. Only other suggestion would be a bright yellowish gold on the earing to add some color and bring attention to the whole head. Spike
Congratulate Mister Oog on his recent victories for me too. He likes cupcakes. I like the offensive magic..especially fireballs and firestorms. BUT...then he's also bad enough to be able to deal a wallupping without his magic, which is even cooler. You have Braug and Gurm, right? If not, get 'em both. They're both tuff..they both get you an extra activation card, and Gurm has Warmaster! Krztoff
Very well done. The only fault I can find is the hair seems to be not up to the same level as the rest of the model. Maybe it's just the pic though. Overall fantastic mini, especially considering how long it took!
