Qwyksilver
Apparently "Cakewalk" is as dangerous a phrase there, as "Passes Uneventfully" is for my Thursday night group
VelveteenRabbit
I love the "MinMax Flashback". I don't know how old your game group is Thunt but this reminds me of countless games in high school... Awesome work! By the way, did you find this thread because you're a Reaper fan or because someone else pointed the way?
Thunt
I love the "MinMax Flashback". I don't know how old your game group is Thunt but this reminds me of countless games in high school... Awesome work! By the way, did you find this thread because you're a Reaper fan or because someone else pointed the way? Thanks. I found this thread because I noticed that I was getting traffic to my site from here, so I popped in to see what was going on. However, Reaper has alot of my money and will continue to get more of it in the future.
Spike
Oooh.. looks like you got a nice looking banner there. Welcome to the place that also takes quite a bit of my money and time.. yet somehow keeps me happy..and keeps me off 'da streets.
styates
Just finished reading the rest of them and the whole story so far is quite hilarious. Can't wait to see the awesome battle that's coming up!!! The stick and moustache ideas were priceless!!!
Spike
Hmm..actually that third idea is pretty intriguing. If nothing else, it'd be a great ploy for keeping people from sitting too close to you on the bus.
Kheprera
Apparently "Cakewalk" is as dangerous a phrase there, as "Passes Uneventfully" is for my Thursday night group Or "Trust me, it's a shortcut!" I don't normally like webcomics all that much. I read very few (although hubby reads a lot of them). I do like Goblins, however. I love the whole tribal feel and the warpaint. And welcome to the addiction. Reaper is an awesome company. I'd live there if I could.
Reaperbryan
BTW Thunt, If you wondered why you got so much traffic form here, blame me. I found your webcomic on the Order of the Stick Forums (I have posted there exactly once) and thought these guys (who, incidentally, are the best people on Earth and bring me hotwings and everything) would appreciate it. If we inadvertently crash your server, sorry. Great comic BTW. Indeed. Anyway, feel free to check out our forums and make yourself at home. Thunt
Thanks, this place does indeed rock. It seems like a fair trade since some people seem to like my comic and may be returning on a regular basis while I, in turn, have been introduced to an awesome forum and will be popping in alot now. (Cue romantic music) And as far as the traffic to my site, feel free to try and crash the server as much as you like. If Goblins ever hits it big time, I can quit my job and work on it full time which means 2 or 3 updates a week instead of the current 1. After that, I can finally start my Goblins cult and force everyone to get Goblins tattoos and move to a small island where we can change the name from "Goblins" to "Project Mayham" and plan the distruction of... ...oops. I've said too much. Now I'm off to swim through the other threads on this here board.
Sergeant_Crunch
When we move to the island I've got dibs on the name "Doesn't-Die-Horribly"
Spartan6
Great comic! I love it! Welcome to the boards Thunt. I call dibs on the name "has-extraordinarily-high-charisma-for-a-goblin-and-is-wealthy-and-and-lives-a-long-time"

Arvok
Naming the comic "Goblins" seems to be setting it up for a short run (which is too bad--the strips are hilarious). I mean, what's the average life expactancy of a Goblin when adventurers are around? Four or Five days tops? How often has anybody been involved in a campaign where a Goblin tribe is a problem for anything weaker than 3rd level characters? Maybe the tribe in the comic will wipe out party after party of hapless adventurers--that could be very funny. I hope Min Max is the first to go. Arvok
"Dies Horribly" reminds me of a joke: WARNING! IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED DON'T READ FURTHER I usually try to avoid foul words, but this joke just doesn't work without one. A young Indian boy approached the tribal chief and asked, "How is it that the Indian boys and girls get their names?" The Chief replied, "Well lad, when a mother is about to give birth I go into the wigwam. After the child takes his first breath I step out the door...the first thing I see is what I name the child. Take for instance 'Robin in the Mist' or 'Pink Sunrise' or your sister 'Deer Walking Throught the Woods'. Why do you ask 'Two Dogs F***ing?'" Back in a 2e game I was running, I wiped a party of 12th level characters out with goblins. Guerilla tactics are quite nasty. Goblins are even nastier in 3/3.5 edition now that they can have class levels. Mwahahaha
