Why not allow it both ways? Allow a FIST team to scan and call in the strike (using up both actions) OR allow another unit to scan and the FIST to call in the strike (using up one action each)...

I'm okay with that and I guess I was trying to imply it originally. :upside:

Makes sense, allows for flexibility in play style to accommodate different commanders..er, I mean players yet still restricts strikes by requiring the scan. I'm mad at myself for thinking so narrowly. Excuse me while I kick myself.

 

@ Spartan: If the FIST teams nuke each you don't have worry about the strikes anymore, and as an added bonus, they left your armor platoons alone ::):

Unless of course your opponents are terrans and they've got 30 some-odd airstrikes left.
