Sergei
The freehand on the sheild was suppose to be a skull and crossbones but it wanted to be something different.

Darkstar
Whoa, your Razig looks really lifelike, for a dead guy! Kinda eerie the way he jumps out at you in that picture, cool.
Jeremy
These look better in person. Especially as my Nefsokar pounded them into dust!!
Niloc
Really nice bone Sergei. Can you share your method? I love pirates, and the fact their undead har har
VelveteenRabbit
Heh, the background scratch by Razig's sword tip is a nice touch, don't imagine that's intentional though. Nice eyeball on him!
Sergei
I was trying to get a "glowing evil eye" affect. I'm not entirly happy with the result bu it does work. The one method I used on thee guys has been quoted on this forum time and time again, but once more, paint a white or ivory base, wash with a dark brown to get a nice contrast, highlight up to a bricht white. Thank you everyont for your comments. And Jeremy, I'm ready for a rematch anytime!! Arrrrr!!
Nanite
Arrgh! Looks good. And Rember national talk like a pirate day is September 19th!
LordColdsteal
Very nice work. My only suggestion would be to glue sand on the bases... make it look like a beach they are invading. I didn't think base work was all that important until I started posting here... trust me... it really helps. Give it a try. Nice job on the bones too. trp81
Very very cool. I was trying to get a "glowing evil eye" affect. I'm not entirly happy with the result bu it does work. I think you might try darking the eye socket around the glowing eye. I think that would bring it out more.
Moderator Froggy the Great Posted August 5, 2005 Moderator Share Posted August 5, 2005 Very nifty. I like your conversions better than mine.
SaintRigger
I like his conversions better than yours as well! HA! ;) Dude, they are both brilliant - you should have them fight. They look like two different crews. I also second on the basing - it can really make or break a model :)
Ranzadule
Nice! I cannot wait to see them in October! Really...I can't wait....will you be at gencon?
