Elouchard
Hi again, This one is another example of glazes but this time an exercise in contrasting glazing, primarily green, reds and purples. The main colors of the armor for example are a gray shade. It was glazed with GW green ink + brown ink + gloss varnish and then the edges highlighted with white a touch. Finally the rust was added with VGC parasite brown. The skin was a base of olive, then glazed lightly with green ink + varnish. The flesh base is a light red, then glazed with purple ink. Purple ink was used on the sorcerer's flesh also so her matched the mount. Eric

ReaperShaun
great paint for a great fig. I am liking the faces, the legs of the "horse", and the horse muscles showing through. Kudos for the base too.
CuCulain42
Great looking piece, makes me kind of want to start glazing.

ReaperShaun
Your color choices are great too. The purple, greens, and reds all give a good feel to the mini.
Niloc
Awesome Elouchard. Very nice How long did it take you to do all those glazes and ink washes? Thanks for sharing.
Jabberwocky
Very cool. I really like the armor on the horse. I always feel a little strange critiqueing work that is SO much better than mine but...if I could be picky, the eyes look a little buggy to me and did the photo not pick up the purple on the exposed muscle of the left rear leg? It looks more red than the other areas.
