ugluk69
I painted this Bugbear just for fun. He is not 100% finished, but I don't know what to do with his base any suggestions would be appreciated
CuCulain42
Looking good, could use a bit more shading with the skin though. As for the base, how about fall colored leaves, maybe with a couple mushrooms poking up through?
Niloc
Needs a large snowy base with some dead branches and some 1/2 covered rocks :-) Mini is looking great, maybe increase the highlights on the fur. Thanks for sharing.
ugluk69
Snow covered mushrooms..hmmm that would be different>
GeekGirl
Definately a snowy base. Looks good, other than the afore mentioned highlights/shading.
LordColdsteal
Needs a bit more shadding on the skin and some more highlights in the hair. I like his lower lip.. looks good. As for the base... your base-fu is so much better then mine, I wouldn't even dare an opinion.
ugluk69
Ok the snow thing did not work out (I need to figure out how to to that right) so I opted for a more conservative base...... Also I took you guy's advice and highlighted the skin and fur more...thanks..
Vinny
I like the fact that you placed a beach-colored strip of sand next to the water. That really gives a sort of transition, and makes the base look realisitc, rather then just dirt, then water (mud?). However, I would kinda try to make the transition from "dirt" to "sand" a bit smoother. Maybe add spots of sand on the dirt, or a bit more uneven of an edge between the dirt and sand? Otherwise, that's a nice-looking mini!
LordColdsteal
Very cool... I like the new shading you did. What did you think about workig with the field grass? I like it... but what a pain....
ugluk69
I agree the field grass was a major pain. It did not want to stand up, but it looked good when the glue dryed.
GeekGirl
I like the water on the base. Nice touch.
CuCulain42
That new shading is a big improvement, and nice work with your base-fu.
