Hmm... Well, the second one is directing to your computer, so that's not going to work. Reduce the file size to below 150 and just post to Reaper's site though? That's the easy way...

And whatever you're doing at 15 is pretty cool that's for sure. Games were not as good when I was 15. I was stuck with crud like Rune Quest to role-play with and Warhammer 3rd ed. to wargame at that age. No internet to teach myself how to paint... Sigh. Hope you're having fun. :)

Looks good so far. I like the colors & the base looks nice. I bet she'll be pretty impressive once you pick up some photo tricks! One to start might be to get a uniform background - I can see some texture on that one and it's distracting from the model. I'm sure the Coldsteal link has more and better tips than I can give. :)

heh not bad for your first one, and i must say i also like the fact that Humansquish has a quote from me in his signature; not so much that he quoted me (which in and of itself is quite cool) but the fact that he read one of my very loooong posts, and picked that quote out from somewhere in the middle.

Wow. i dont know that even I have enough dedication to read the entirety of some of my longer posts closely enough to pick out a quote. sheesh.

Not bad at all!

Hmmm, the skin tone is kinda pale (like, sickly pale). Do you use a black undercoat, then paint the skintone right on? What I do is paint a coat of white over the black, then the skintone over the white.

Maybe that might help? ::):

I dunno, maybe it's just my preference. zotherwise, very good job!

So, I don't normally hang out much in the Show-Off forum, because I don't have much time, but happened to see this...so, to put my two cents in, it looks like your washes are working out very well. However, washes tend to work even better when the basecoat is over white primer rather than black. Half the point of black primer is that it mutes the colors you put over the top, and makes your shadows for you, so you don't *have* to use washes. I think if you switch to white primer for a mini or two and then use your washes you'll notice a big difference! Also, it looks like the other thing that would really benefit you is thinning your paint a little. When I look at the staff and the dress I can see a bit of texture that's clogging up your details. Switching to white primer, again, will really help with this because you won't need to make the paint thicker to cover the black. ::):

Otherwise, quite a good job for your first Warlord mini! Those Werner elves have a punishing amount of detail on 'em and you handled it very well overall; nicely done. ::):
