OK... how did you get her to open her coat... let her paint her ... "chest"... and then close it back up.... amazing...

The coat is increadible... great job...

The feathers look good, but I'm not crazy about the color choice for them (now I'm just being picky)

Great job....

What I wouldn't give to sit and watch you paint for a hour or so... great job.

I was surprised by all the detail in that area myself, the more I painted the more I kept seeing how intricate the detail in that little area was and how...dimensional. Great work by the sculptor Bob Ridolfi. One of the great things about painting well sculpted minis is discovering all of the cool details up close that you would never notice until you spend time trying to bring them to life.

Thanks guys for the FB, much appreciated.

Bob's one of the unsung heroes of our hobby. He does some really neat and subtle things that folks miss until they get up close & personal with the mini... great job as always darkstar!!

I've got one o' the Ridolfi Reapercon Sophie's at 50% and I can't WAIT to see that sorceress goodness of his in the metal!!! Well, metal that I can do something with, there's a "white" in the Asylum...

(one of the perks of living in southern california)

I have seen Pam Anderson in real life when i was working at Ozz Fest at Blockbuster Pavilion. And im not lying to you, she really is that dumb. I $#!t you not, when asked what she liked about being at Ozzfest she said, "You know, I just love the music, and being outside, and I love music that's outside and stuff, you know *giggle giggle*." She is about as sharp as a box of rocks.

now back to melisande-great job as always darkstar, your grasp of curvylinear highlights humbles me.
