Lady Tam
I suddenly find myself wanting some of the Slithe figures. Anybody seen any of them around at thier local FGS? Is Reaper going to put any more out? Any sitting in the boneyard? I did a search, but didn't find any on the web site. Lady Tam
Steven Page
About two weeks ago, Dr. No's(www.drnos.com) had both of the Slithe. Get them! They are awesome figures and paint up wonderfully. Tell Cliff I sent you.
Infinity
Still interested in this, Lady Tam? I've seen two in the last few weeks at two separate shops--both of the figures were "Domnu" or something. I can check, if you're interested. Infinity
Lady Tam
Yes! the Domnu is the one I am looking for. Was able to "secure" the other at my local gameing shop, though the thought of converting another, sounds like fun, so I wouldn't say "no" to another. Now if Reaper would put out thier world book and some more info one the various races (Like Skoli and Slithe! Hint hint! Or maybe I should, try my hand at the Slithe! I have a good imagination, works overtime! :p ) and some more mins of these races, that would be Tres cool! Lady Tam
Greentuft
I've peddeled this company before, but BigWorldComics.com has Domnu Demon Queen (correct miniature?) in stock. The downside from what experience I've had with the company is that they are sloooooooooooooow. It took about a month to go from ordering to shipping; but, if you're willing to be patient, you could go with them as well. So, here's the link: Domnu Demon Queen. Good luck Lady Tam. Lady Tam
Actually I was able to secure some. Thanks all! Will post picyures (If they come out!) when they are done. My painting is o.k. Not on par with Some of you, but passable. It my photography that stinks! :D Lady Tam
Steven Page
Here's a scan of my two: The scan is a little dark. Now lets see a lot more of these!
Infinity
Lady Tam, I'm just curious what you want a number of these slithe things for? I like the sculpts, and, looking at this one that is coming your way ($$info$$ on Monday or Tuesday), I think it has the look of a cool, different variation of a sea hag. Mind sharing your intentions with them? Infinity
Lady Tam
want to try a few conversions. The one with the spear might be able to be converted to holding a sword and shield. Won't know until I see her in person. Lady Tam
Lady Tam
Got two conversions done. Still waiting on another figure to arrive. If it gets here I will do one more conversion, then get one to leave as is. that will be a total of four Slithes for now. Should be enough. I must say, changing the weapons and adding shields really changes the look of these ladies. Will try and get a picture of them as they are right now, primed and all to post. Lady Tam
Here is one of the Slithe figures I have converted so far. After I took this picture I removed the cresent half shield and replaced it with a full round shield from one of the Reaper weapons packs. The sword is pinned. The other figure has the sword and shield reversed, so one is a "righty" and the other a "lefty". Was planning on painting them up as "twins" even though each has a different sword, but same shield. Slithe You may have to add a space at the end to get the picture to show up. Lady Tam
Steven Page
Good work on the sword hand. That sort of thing seems sooo easy until you try it. Keep us posted on the results.
Lady Tam
Pinning that sword was a pain in the rump! but I got it done and set. The sword on the other one was even worse to do. But it is set. Got a picture of the two in thier "base coat" of green today. Will post when I get developed. Lady Tam
Lady Tam
At the risk of getting my site shut down again from too much traffic! here is the two "twins" There is only one coat of green on them in this picture. Have gotten the second coat on since this was taken. twins Remember the space. And remember, though they are twins, one is a "lefty" and the other a "righty" Also they have different weapons on purpose. Lady TAm
Steven Page
Looking good LT. Your conversions have inspired me. I'm going to pick up one of the remaining Slithe at DrNo's and have her blowing through a small sea shell, like a conche shell. I'll post results.
