Slithe miniatures

I'll have you know I am already cussing those shields! Not a lot of room behind the one for painting. It is  also tricky getting under those chins to paint, on both minis. It "dips" in under there and is hard to get a brush up there to fill in the unpainted areas.

Nevertheless, it appears you are doing justice to the sculpts with what we've seen so far.  Brava!

I'm wishing I had purchased one of these a while back when the big enemy in my campaign was a sea hag.  Oh well.

If I see any more of them, I'll let you know.

Currently we are at an impass. They are painted dark green, for a "base" color, but I am having trouble figuring out what colors to go with next. Lighter greens or lighter blue greens.  Sigh, I can see how i want them to turn out, now to make the paint work the way I want it to!

Oops.  I guess it's too late to suggest that you paint them without the shields attached, otherwise it's gonna be tricky to paint their arms.

I've learned my lesson when I painted up that Zeiren wolfen mini from Confrontation for the VIC.  Man, what a pain to paint under the weapon.

eh...

nevermind...
