See the areas of the photo that look grey on the black fur? Where the light is reflecting and making the black appear lighter? Use that as a guide and mix up some Sombre Grey VGC, Shadow Grey GW, Or Twilight Blue mixed with a touch of Snow Shadow and a touch of Rainy Gray MSP 3/1/1, with about 3 parts black to one part of your preferred "bluish purple grey" and start highlighting those areas. Highlight the raised parts of the fur, leaving the darker areas in the recesses, adding slowly more grey to your mix, about a drop at a time. Use a small brush to nab each little hair of the fur.
