Enchantra
I'm looking for some good larger scale Viking miniatures. Preferably 40mm or larger. Any ideas where I can find these?

CuCulain42
Bronze Age Miniatures has one in 54mm. Prince August has a line of 40mm, they're in Ireland but ship worlwide. Collector Thrills Has a couple I believe in 54mm That should give you a start to look at.
ugluk69
Enchantra Pegaso makes some 54mm Vikings available at www.warweb.com here is a pic: They look good!!
Otter
i think the company Verlander or something like that has minis that size. I think you're thinking Verlinden. I thought their website used to be something with Verlinden or VLS as the main part of the name, now it appears to be VLS Corporation's Model Mecca. I'll second the recommendation for Pegaso. Here's a link to the Pegaso Home Page in English, even. Dracos and I got some Pegaso minis for Christmas . . . and have been intimidated by them and haven't started painting. Lars Porsenna
Most Verlinden figures are going to be 120mm, with a few exceptions (and WWII stuff obviously). They're also resin cast, but usually well made with good detail (I have their 1st viking and its great!). Damon.

Mourningcloud
just go to hobby people-they have these cool plastic medieval minis just sitting in a bin-fairly cheap (i know you are on a tight budget) although around 120 mm. im sure they have some vikings. Enchantra
I found one that is PERFECT due to all the great info you guys gave me. Though the $85 price tag is a hair much. I guess I had best either use a different one or really save up the cash. Here's the one I really like: https://www.modelmecca.com/cgi-bin/shop.pl?...umber=YM%209001 I do like the minis listed by Pegaso, those are sweet! I'll keep those in mind as backup. haldir
that is a nice one, really has a strong pose to him, like he's standing on the edge of seaward cliff facing the unknown or something. Randy M
Enchantra
*rubs her hands together* I checked my bank balance against my incoming and outgoing bills. I actually do have enough to buy that mini at this time... *giggles gleefully* *suddenly turns white* Oh dear I think I've been infected with figmentia. Enchantra
Oh dear I think I've been infected with figmentia. Better start painting then. I've been doing that for a while. Thankfully pigmentia has not yet completely set in.
