vutpakdi
Very cute! Seems like just yesterday when my 4 year old was that big. Some things that I miss about the time when my son was an infant, like his comfortable weight soundly napping on my chest. Of course, there are advantages to having an almost four year old too, like the interesting conversations. My wife recently asked him what he thought that they should get me for my birthday. He reportedly thought about it for a moment and then replied, "How about some army guys for daddy to paint?" Don't I have a great son? Ron PS: Just in case it isn't clear, he calls minis "army guys". Kengar
Very cute! Seems like just yesterday when my 4 year old was that big. My 3-1/2 yo daughter likes to paint "globbins" (goblins) with daddy. The paint jobs typically consist of slathering an old Heroquest orc one primary color from head to toe with some old Citadel brushes and Crayola paint, but she has fun (and I just strip the mini w/Simple Green for next time). Recently (when my gaming group migrated back to my place) she asked me what game I played with my friends. So I made up a game where she takes a DnD plastic pirate-y mini (she likes pirates) and he walks through a "forest" to find treasure (some plastic gold coins and an old "red gem" d30). Along the way, her character scares off monsters by waving his sword at them while trying not to get scared back to the start of the path. She & I both roll a d6 and whomever gets the higher roll wins. I use monsters like plastic tigers and bugs and the occasional DnD goblin/orc. When she gets scared, a plastic bronze dragon flies down to help her pirate. Occasionally she declares "This monster is friendly!" and talks to it for a while, carrying on both sides of the conversation by herself. Now she asks to go to the basement to play "The Game" or paint globbins all the time. I'm so very proud of my little future "Empress-of-the-Geeks". She will rule them all with her winsome cuteness and DICE OF STEEL!! BWAHAHA!!

Aphrella
You guys should check out Firefly Games' Faery's Tale - they suggest the game for ages 6+, but my 4 and 5 year old love it....
warlordgarou
Here's our latest, born earlier this morning, at 8:01 am EST. Little Erin Michelle weighs 9 lb 2.2 oz, and was 19 1/2 long. Mother and daughter are fine, daddy is too exhausted to resize the image.
Qwyksilver
Congratulations on the new addition to the family. Erin is a wonderful choice for a little girl (of course, I am biased by my little 8 month old Erin ) I hope you are all able to get plenty of rest, and wow, that's one healthy sized baby! Since you mentioned here is the latest, I am presuming there are other little ones about. How are they doing with the new arrival of their little sister? She has an older brother (3 years old next week), who is actually quite happy to have a little sister, though he keeps insisting that she not play with his toys. He likes going to see her, and keeps telling me that we have to bring her (and mommy) home soon. How long that will last, however, is debatable.
