  • Tree Sloths
  • Rabbits
  • Killer Chickens
  • Dung Beetles
  • Giant Sandpipers
  • Massive Drooling Gerbils
  • Rabid Prairie Dogs

Potential Armies or Scenario Creatures that could be interesting:

  • Elementals
  • Automatons/Clockwork Creatures
  • Golems

Doh!!! - gotta go...

BTW, can any reaper peeps (when you get the chance) answer my initial questions? Any plans for more factions, and if not is Reaper will to consider adding? Maybe do a contest?

Would it be legal to discuss hoped for sublists on this thread, too? Or is it just for "maindeck" armies that aren't represented?

Well, for me, I am totally enamored with the possibilities related to the Reptus.

Just thinking about all the different types of snakes, reptiles, amphibians, etc there are in the world that could be used to broaden that line.

water snakes, burrowers, poisonous, constrictors, strong jawed gators, showy finned lizards, basalisk types, newts, poison tree frogs, wart covered toads, salamanders, igauna types, ..........

The list just keeps a going for me.

As for something that would be new and different well, my first thought comes to felines but not sure if I would make them a complete new faction or just a sublist of something else.

I do like the gorilla and lupine based factions though.

The thoughts on the oriental stuff just doesnt appeal to me as much. The barbarian nomads I guess the same (even tho Sigurd is one of my favorite minis).

I think there are so many ways to build out the current factions that I am not so much hung up on new factions:

elves: eagle riders, deer riders, unicorns, fill out more centaur and satyr types, hybrid animal forest creatures, faeries, etc..., woodland catapults or tree traps

dwarves: wormriders, bear riders, warthog riders, diggers, dog handlers, smithies, more griffin types, fire carriers

necros: something to compliment the grave horror

spawn: I guess this is the one where I see those dung beetles finding their way into., and admittedly there are several hybrid insect creature related possibles to put in here.

ok thats enough thinking for now...

I still say the biggest outlet is simply starting to port over the DHL stuff. There is a ton of good possibles already there to bring into Warlord.

First up, I'd love to see rules for the DHL "factions".

Second, I'd like to see an "all reptus" sublist wherein there are no snakemen, frogmen, assorted other amphibians. I LOVE to look and attitude of the reptus and would like to see monstrous creatures in the same thorny, hard-edges style.

I buy minis that I like. Ever since I quit WH40K I have refused to buy minis I didn't like just because their stats were good or they were "needed", and while the various amphibians, snakemen, etc, may be well sculpted, none of these interests me in the slightest...... so I'd like a sublist of my very own, where everything is a freakin' big lizard with harsh scales and a lotta teeth :)

I just love the hard, draconic look and texture of the Reptus. More, please!

And no lizards with boobs in my sublist, you hear?!!!

I agree.

I really love the lizardy stuff, but am not so big on the rest of the reptus. I even constructed a big mean lizard to proxy as a krung beast (his pictures is up somewhere in show off). I like the dragon lizard stuff, but am not to big on the swamp critters

I really like where the game is heading actually. Each faction contains sublists, and I bet we see the same for Mercs and such.

I've heard several people mention another human faction, and it's here already...

Mercenarys are primarly human but have a nice variety. They are very different from the Crusaders, kind of rough, less noble, more greedy. It's a good mix.

I'd like to see them broken down into Lupine and Barbarian sublists though.

Reptus sublists that include an all Mongkahn(I believe that's what they call themselves) army would be awesome. Then make their cavalry ride shaggy swamp spiders.

Some other underground army would be cool too. I guess I'm leaning towards elemental with this.
