Rastl
Is that a smirk on her face?? I like the skin tones and the colors you chose. But the hair seems a bit 'off' to me? I like that it's blue but it just seems to be not quite part of the paint scheme. Great brush control. I'm in envy.
Kengar
The "ice blade" is really nice, and I like the colors overall. Her face seem a bit off somehow. Not sure what it is (need more caffeine, I guess).
CuCulain42
I really like that ice sword too. On the hair I think IMHO that if you had used a blue closer to the sword and cloak/cape thingy it would fit better with the rest of the fig. fieldarchy
Thanks for the suggestion about the hair. The face does seem off, I don't know why it looks like that in the picture, looks better in person. I will change the hair then and repost. Niloc
Nice work fieldarchy. How did you do that base? Thanks for sharing :-)
Mojoman
Yeah, how DID you do that base... looks almost like real snow! Please share your secret... Mojo
fieldarchy
This is only my second attempt at the snow base and it turned out really well. What I did was I mixed a bunch of baking soda in to elmers white glue until it had the consistency of paste. I spread it on with an old chewed up paint brush and then put some baking soda on top and let it dry overnight. The next day I shook off the excess baking soda and then sealed the mini. Thats it. Oh and the base is actually a wooden disc that I got from michael's craft store
Warden54
I'm loving that sashy thingy do on her backside. I really like that sword too, great job overall. The only thing I don't like is that hair...maybe highlight it up to that light blue on her sash and sword blade? Love the base as well. LordColdsteal
I really like that ice sword. Very nicely done. And the purple/pink clothing looks great too. hair... ... not too sure on it. Very nice job... she looks cold to the core!
Jabberwocky
My favorite part is also the ice sword. The skin tones are well done. I would agree with the previous posters on the hair. The coverage on the collar looks a little patchy to me, but I like the shawl very much.
fieldarchy
Ok so I took everyone's advice about the hair and changed it over the weekend. How does she look now?
