Necropolis Skelly Test

Hello All !!! These are some "test" skellies... The front one is drybrushed and the back one is not... I can tell the difference in the piccies, but I believe that I'm going to succumb to the brush-of-dryness to finish the army & get it on the table. To offset the drybrushing, I think I'm going to do the Necro symbol on the shields... yah?

FYI, I'm trying to add a picture via upload for the first time (vs. posting it on my site)... If you don't see a piccie... gimme a minute... Thanks!

I think the drybrushing looks fine. As Darkstar mentioned, drybrushing is a technique that is as valid as any other. In fact, I once read that Victoria Lamb uses drybrushing fairly extensively in her work--she is an Australian painter that has won several golden demons I believe.

IMO the non dry brushed one looks too polished. ou did a nice job on the blending, but unless he just came out of the local Turtle Wax Car Wash, then he is a bit too polished.

I like the troop mark on the head. I say put it on their forehead like the symbol of the beast or hap hazard on their skulls like the white hand of sauromon. Forgive the spelling, i am too tired to fix it.
