jhilahd
drjsallison I plan on going Saturday. I'll pm you when I know for certain. DChihorn I think I can do that. I'm waiting on my daughter's soccer schedule. The league has her games on both Saturday's and Sunday's. Hopefully, it'll be in the a.m. and I can swing your way. I'll know more by this weekend. Keep posting. I had planned on setting up a group forum on another board just for this group. But wanted to make sure everyone is ok with that. I don't want to make the Reaper forum our personal planning board. I realize they do not mind us using it, but I do not want upset anyone by doing so. Let me know if y'all are cool with that and I'll set somethin' up, my rpg group has a nice server we use. I'll make space there once I hear from eveyone interested. jhilahd
I know we haven't even gotten together to meet yet. But be thinking when y'all would like to game. Is it better for you to play on the weekends? If so, what time(s) work best for you? Is it better for you to play during the week in the evenings? If so, from when to when would you be able to play? Just some things to think about as we grow our lil' group.
drjsallison
For me, weekends are good. Durring the week, Thursday evening is best, and Mondays are a never. (Mon. night commitment.) In short, 6 out of 7 days are open for me.
tabascojunkie
. I myself am available pretty much whenever. For weekend games I would prefer to have them on the 1st or 3rd weekends of the month if possible. My kids, actually step-children, go to their dads on those weekends.. That saved a little typing. And I'm planning on going to Reaper this Sat. with the wifey. I usually get there about 11. And and DChihorn, the 24th sounds good to me. And and and the separate forum sounds like a great idea. sirikus
until the 19th I have tuesdays and saturdays free, and sunday wed and thurs I'm free after about 6:00 (of course I also have a week off coming up between now and then too so any time from the 7th-11th is great) and my wife pretty much just has weekends off and her evenings can vary depending on schedule - after the 19th is anyone's guess I'm afraid I'm still talking with my wife about heading over to reaper saturday, just depends on if we're well rested enough =P
All-Terrain Monkey
I wouldn't worry about the seperate forum thing too much, as we already throw in a lot of stuff in the Asylum threads .
drjsallison
Seeing as how gas prices have soared to $2.99 per gallon , perhaps those of us going to Denton should get a carpool together. Yes? No? Kung-Pow Squid? This would be helpful to all, even when we get a game on this side of town, many of us will still enjoy a visit to the Asylun periodicly. Let me know what yall think. Plus, if you Carpool, You can save more than just gas money - Take the Bush Tollway and it's only $1.25 from Richardson/Plano to Lewisville, and once in lewisville, you can HOV Lane if you carpooled - Saves time and money compared to everyone driving themselves. While I despise toll roads, the Bush is noticeably faster Lewisville/Plano and vice versa than trekking to LBJ or across 121 or 380.
drjsallison
I have spoken to Comic Asylum in Garland about hosting a game there. As it stands, there is an available slot for two thursdays a month. I need to hash out the details with Mark Hay (owner) and see what we can do. Let me know if this sounds good and I should go ahead with this or, if not, lets put our energies into a new location and/or day.
sirikus
for the next 2 weeks thursday evenings are fine (I get off work about 5:30 and close the next day so no problem with going late if neccessary) however after that I am totally clueless as to when i'm going to be free

I know they did when it was Big World, but haven't noticed any since the change.
jhilahd
I agree. When you told me Saturday that you were working on this, I got excited. We need to decide on which Thursday and what time to start and close. How late do they stay open? Are we allowed to bring in snacks/drinks or do they provide? I agree with Bruce/Tabascojunkie. Do they have terrain? Do we need to bring some in? I've a little and I mean a little board(3x3) with some scrubs and rocks. Other than that its paper cups and other sundries around the house. sirikus
I have a handful of non-matching styrofoam hills i can bring along as well as a few hirst arts pieces I've put together - I have the bell tower, tower and fountain and the ruined tower all actually finished and a bunch of dungeon stuff too that I don't think would be quite as good for warlord (and by the way if anyone is interested in checking out the hirst arts stuff I have about 50-75lbs of cast blocks just collecting dust in my garage at the moment)
