750 is about par for warlord with Jason, and 1500 CAV. You have gotta play on his snow covered CAV table. (Its HUGE and awesome) As far as Warlord goes, 750 is plenty if ther will be 3+ on the board, but I like 1000 for a good 1 on 1. If anyone wants to throw down with 1500-2000, PM me and we can duke out a biggun sometime.

On another note. I have a modular bunch of terrain that I use and can be set up anywhere. Anyone wanting a Warlord game of any type, anytime, PM me. I don't get to play nearly enough and me and Lady Justice could use some new opponants.

Well, as mentioned before, I am willing to come yalls direction too. I just didnt see it worth it if'n the store is only open to 7.

As for points. For a little get together like this, go ahead and plan on 750 and 1500. If we can get 4-6 players like before then that can work just fine.

For February's In-My-Garage-Con, I will be announcing the scenarios shortly that will have the following point restrictions:

Warlord: 1250

CAV: 2750 (based on CAV2 nuke-con beta numbers - subject to change depending on how the final release changes)

So, lets say, Saturday Dec 10th as early as you guys want to make it over... How does that sound to everyone?

Pat's got enough CAVs to cover a few of us I think.

And Jason, if I can get a game at Xtreme (man, I hate that name) going, I'll try to make it for a Saturday so getting off work and all that won't interfere. Especially for you being on the other side of the world from the rest of us.

And those of us on this side can always try for the weeknight game if it can be done. Sorry, but I haven't had a chance to go talk to Jack about the possibility of occasional later hours yet. I'll try to go up there Monday or Tuesday.

Cool.

I went by there yesterday with my son. Can't beat a 20 minute drive, compared to the 35-40 minute drive to Comic Asylum. Which I found out yesterday, is owned by a friend of mines boss's husband. (not their cousin's uncles roommate). Small world.

I wished I would have had Jack show me the back room. His front is small. But clean. I'm so used to being overwhelmed by product like at Lone Star and the Game Chest. I did pick up some MSP's yesterday, first time to use them last night. Interesting. I had alot of luck with one bottle, but then the next, I had trouble with the pigment getting lumpy. But I digress.

As far as the 10th, thats up in the air and I won't know for certain until the 9th. Sorry, but my daughter is playing in a Quickfoot soccer tournament, and Sunday would be the play off game(s). So we won't know until they finish Saturday night.

Remember, I may live 45 away, but I work 15-20 away. I work in Addison area near the Galleria. So, if the doors were to stay open, a weeknight thing is doable for me on your side o town.

Ok, so I am hearing that on the 10th it will be a good thing for me to have at least 2 tables going and we can decide at the time whether to have a big scrum or a couple of tables worth of smaller groups playing. Some CAV and some WL. Either way, I am good to go. Gotta lot of painting to do between now and then, but hope to get much of that over this coming weekend.

I'll see about also contacting some of the lurking people that are signed up thru reapergames but dont post much here that live in my area and see if there is any interest there for the 10th.

I'll answer it this way. I will have two tables set up:

6x8 snow table

8x12 desert canyon table

People I have listed as possibles:

Myself (obviously)

Tobasco

Pat

Pat's friend Keith

DrJ

LadyJustice

Jhilahd

a couple of people that live in my area that I got from Reapergames

anyone else that Pat is able to drag from Reaper

a couple of local kids that are still learning

There is also Sirikus but havent heard from him in a while respond here.

So, by my count that gives 6-10 people. Plenty of people to have both games playing. Even if only half that show up, we can do some one on one types and still run both games.

So, Pat, if you only want to play CAV then only bring your CAV. If you care to try both then bring both.

Oh and to answer the other question... doors will open at 8 am so whenever you want to show up is fine...
