Vikinglodge
This is the one I got come up with the design for with the DYOM contest. I have been thinking a long time about a scenario to build with him in it. Well after some time of not having the extra time to do the whole thing I thought why not just give him a paintjob and get the feel of him and do the big thing later. GeekGirl
Very nice. I especially like the pattern on the edges of the cloak.

Jester
Linus, I was wondering when I would get to see your take on your DYOM. VERY nice. I'm especially taken with how you captured the face. Excellent work.
Krztoff
That is a beautiful face. I never would have pictured him with a white hood. You make it work so well. I just might have to get it!

Darkstar
Nice one. I like the color choices for the various layers of cloak and hood. They look right together. Now that I have mine, I plan to paint him up next week as well, I'm envisioning something a little "darker" with my take on him, we will see of course. I love the sculpt and the mini itself, it's a classic and is going to be a blast to paint up. What was the inspiration behind this piece, I mean, when you did the DYOM, what was the story you came up with for him?
Vikinglodge
My wife and I brainstormed ideas together we thought of a very actiony pose for a young Elf mage. WE were thinking that he had just been disturbed doing some sneaking around and sensing danger he has taken a swig of a magic potien and throws a magic spell at the threat behind him Thats why he twisting around
Frustrated Father
I like the cloak and the facial expression. I've been thinking of doing this one, but GS'ing a spell affect being cast or something. Still on the table of ideas.

Steven Page
Beautiful Linus, has anyone else commented that he looks like a young Christian Slater(from "Name of the Rose"). Spike and I both think so. Great design, great painting!
LordColdsteal
The colors are all very smooth... excellent fading. I really like the edging on the cloak. And the face does look like Christen Slater... kinda spooky. the bottle in his hand is also exceptional!
