I like the crunchy bits on the base too! It's like you're stompin' on Scott (deja vu) debby
Lawgiver
Solid piece of work. Nice freehand. Shield and armor are great. The heads are a nice touch. The white streak in the hair is an interesting flavor.

Kelcore
Reaperbryan Posted Sep 13 2005, 10:14 AM I really like your use of Necropolis bits to flesh out the model. Makes me want to add some Dwarf bits to all of my Reven! Anybody got a spare Margara Head??? hehheh...I'll see what I can do... Dancin'Debby Posted Sep 13 2005, 11:26 AM NO Bryan! Not Magara, anybody but Magara! ik_evil.gif Nice work by the way Kelcore! I like the crunchy bits on the base too! It's like you're stompin' on Scott (deja vu) debby happy.gif Y'know, I assembled and primed Gaaguk today (my new favorite Reven model now. He's sooooooo cool) and considered sawing off a magara head to put on his base! Sadly, he's pretty big and takes up most of the base, so it might look a bit cluttered. So Magara lives. For now. Vikinglodge Posted Today, 01:13 AM I think its really nice great NMM and the added detail on the base is super biggrin.gif Angorak Posted Sep 13 2005, 07:45 PM Very nice work that! Kelcore
Good stuff Kel... it's got me thinking of crunchy base ideas... whirrr.. click.. click.. sputter... wh-wh-wh-whirrrr. Hey-hey! Thanks Michael! More and more, I'm finding myself doing the "crunchy base" thing. Just makes it a lil more interesting to me without jumping on the cork-rock wagon (not that there's anything wrong w/ cork bases. It's just that so many people do them so well already, I doubt there's anything I could add to the technique). But if I got your gears turning, then I feel like I've done a pretty good job. Thanks man!

Anybody got a spare Margara Head??? You can have it, if you are brave enough to come and get it. I think you're green skins have yellow bellies! Kelcore, Incredible brightness and metallics. The Necro helm on the base is awesome!
ixminis
Okee, here's the idea since I'm not sure how much time I've got to do it. Take that Crimson knigget helmet, bore/hollow it out, cut a chunk of the faceplate off, get a dis-embodied head & plunk it inside... put the extra helmet piece somewhere nearby. Alot of work, but that's what'd make it sorta neat-o, yah? tee hee - maybe we could hire frosch to do these conversions for us... tee hee!!!
