Crazy8
Yeah... lesson learned. I got used to having every model have the FIST ability if it was pure Terran.
Spartan6
Yeah...we got a little kick in the jimmy on a few things. But so did everyone else.
Crazy8
Spartan, (gonna backtrack a bit here) have you had any problems with your Ronin / Hawk6 / Talon trifecta with the Talon EST being only a two inch AOE? It seems like that would group the three of them awfully close together... a prime target for an IA attack.
Spartan6
Not if you move the ronin and hawk in and then back out of the est bubble. IA seldom hurts anything anyway.
Crazy8
I normally do quite a bit of damage with IA attacks. That's why I'm always going on and on about the Regent. (Duh, I should've thought about moving into, firing, and then out of the bubble)
Chrome
Not if you move the ronin and hawk in and then back out of the est bubble. IA seldom hurts anything anyway. We've found IA to be an extremely effective way of taking out ECM/EST units, plus you score the occasional damage on the group around them. EntilZha
I've decided on a name for my unit when I'm playing Terrans: 77th Legion, aka The Lucky Sevens. Particulars for my Legion so far (done in the format found in the CAV2 rulebook): 77th Legion Nickname(s): The Lucky Sevens Headquarters: Fort Nellis, Las Vegas, Nevada, Earth, Sol Emblem: a 77 framed by a horseshoe, with a border of alternating four-leaf clovers and rabbits' feet Notes: Most members of this Legion have a reputation for being superstitious. Typically, soldiers in the 77th have their own special rituals, meals, ways of getting up in the morning, etc, etc, that they believe will convey the most luck on the field of battle. Even if new personnel don't believe in the power of luck when they are first assigned to the Legion, most usually acquire some form of superstition within a few months. Surprisingly (and amazingly considering where their HQ is located), there are few gamblers in their ranks. While most 77th personnel worship at the altar of Lady Luck, they generally understand that the power of luck can be fickle. Consequently, many of the Lucky Sevens eschew the many casinos their adoptive home town offers. This has done nothing to diminish their popularity, however. Most Las Vegas residents love having the Legion associated with their city, and Legionnaires are treated like minor celebrities.

Crazy8
So I was backtracking through the 25+ pages of posts here and I ran across a couple of posts talking about the Samurai... what the heck happened to that!? Is it still in the works, is there even a drawing for it yet??
SOldcorn
As people are talking about their Legions, remember the 95th Legion - Dark Storm are still out there and just waiting for a hardback rulebook to be printed.

Is it still in the works, is there even a drawing for it yet?? It was a 1.5 Beta test CAV. I think it may be published at some point in the near future as a kitbash/optional rule unit. I'm going to try and make one by putting the Ronin's arms on the Katana.

The Terrans could use a Super-Heavy in a dedicated attack role.

There's also a Ronin variant mentioned in the JOR's that has rotary cannons... Be looking for some non-OEM Terran models in a future Mil-Net update too.
