ReaperShaun
I think they are okay too. Something I noticed is that Mitso-Ta doesnt put Wizzos in their cavs... in fact they only have one wizzo in any of thier units... the Ryoshi if memory serves. I found that a little odd. So I guess I would suggest a CAV with a Wizzo. Adding one to the Ronin would be Bad ***
Crazy8
The Samurai has a WSO as well as RAV 5, Hunter and Wrecker. That thing'll be a monster. Of course, getting that extra RAV means you have to drop the IA that the Ronin enjoys... Guess it would depend on your play style. I wouldn't mind seeing a SyRaM style Mastodon. Instead of being an artillery piece it would be a much larger 3G (gauss gatling gun), RAV 4, range 36, WSO, Shredder, Rugged, Counter-battery with 2 MA's or 2 IA's. (or maybe one of each.) And THAT could be called the Warhawk.
ReaperShaun
I guess I missed the Samurai having a WSO. I stand corrected.
Gunfighter
Over all I think the UFF is pretty well rounded. This is my problem, everything I can think of is already covered in the model line. Regardless of what kind of force you are building, whether Heavy Assault (T-birds and lots of Naginatas) or General Purpose (Hawk6's and Hawk5's w/ Regents, Ronins and Wolves for support) or Fast Attack (Talons and Raptors w/ Kikyus, Harpies, and Tsuisekis) you can build it without customizing or being short of anything. It says alot that the basic equipment for the Terrans covers all the bases without needing upgrades to do it.

Crazy8
I was thinking something like a Falcon with one biga$$ 3G mounted like a Mastodon and a couple of missile arms like the Raptor.
Crazy8
So, what do you guys think of the new Dingo sculpt? Looks like I'll be making a trip to the FLGS to place an order for a couple of those as well as the new Merlin. It's good to be Terran. papabees
I have been waiting for those Dingos for a loooooooong time. I've wanted to field a section of two Naginatas w/ two Dingos. I hope they will work well together.
ForceCommander
Lots of good Terran units in the pipeline, the Merlin and re-scaled Tsuiseki look awesome! I'll have to dig out my beta rules to check up on the dingo.... tho' I'll be getting 2 regardless since they look so nice. Jamie
Spartan6
"Dingo's ate my baby!!" Is going to be an often heard statement among the aliens.

Crazy8
"Dingo's ate my baby!!" Is going to be an often heard statement among the aliens. LOL... Funny. Sick, but funny. I was thinking something like a Falcon with one biga$$ 3G mounted like a Mastodon and a couple of missile arms like the Raptor. What Dingo?!? Where? I just came from the reapermini site and the last greens update was on 09/28!! I read the post in the Cav general thread but can't find anything. The thread is titled "Greens, look upon them ye mighty..." and it's in the Reaper General forum. I have been waiting for those Dingos for a loooooooong time. I've wanted to field a section of two Naginatas w/ two Dingos. I hope they will work well together. I was thinking the same thing. We'll see how well it works out "in the field" but on paper a platoon of Dingos and Naginatas makes for a well rounded armor force. I was also thinking of a platoon of Dingos to throw up against players who like lots of infantry (Rach).
Crazy8
So this past Friday I managed to squeeze in another game of CAV at he FLGS. Joel47 ran the show and we had two guys watch, and three of us playing. Not a bad turnout and it was quite a bit of fun as we didn't allow upgrades. Anyway... if you guys haven't played with the Regent yet... wow. I may have had good dice that night but I think the Regent is now my support CAV of choice, over the Talon. Counter-battery with AOE/3 was great. I managed to take out a Spider with counter-battery fire as well as damage quite a few other models due to the large AOE. My opponents (dirty Adon SOB's ) tended to group together making things a bit easier for IF attacks as well. Plus the FRS made rolling drift a breeze. I think I may have drifted once or twice out of a dozen IF and Counter-battery rolls. So, looks like another M-T model has managed to weasel itself a spot in my predominantly SyRaM roster. I've been kicking around the idea of taking a Regent for every CAV platoon that goes on the board. This way you could quell alot of the IF fire that a short ranged platoon (Starhawks, Katanas...) would normally face. Although trying to keep all your models within 6 inches of the Regent may be a bit to close. Thoughts?
Spartan6
Keeping them all within 6" is probably not a great idea but you might consider parking your Regent beside a Thunderbird or a Talon.
Crazy8
I might try an 8 or 9 inch bubble given AOE's...
