Patrick
In anticipation of the big Reaper Artist Con I've been spending at least two hours daily over the last two weeks poking and prodding at sticky green wads of chewing gum-like putty trying to coerce it into a cohesive lump. This is literally the first thing I've sculpted with greenstuff in nearly 10 years. Already she is two weeks old and the other stuff is showing progress. I'll post those as soon as I can get some snaps of them. Let me know what you think.
abngi
Thank you for bucking the trend by sculpting realistic-sized weaponry. I also like how the lean and slight arch give a dynamic sence in a subtle way.
Lawgiver
Lovin' in. Boots, hat, hair and face are excellent. The wooden plank base rocks. Fingers on the extended hand may be a bit thick. Detail is great. From the rear it almost looks like its leaning a bit too far. A side view as if looking down the gun barrel may help. Moderator Froggy the Great Posted September 23, 2005 Moderator Share Posted September 23, 2005 So you're going to have this one cast and sell it, right?
Hexxenhammer
Wow. I'd buy that for a dollar.
John Lee
I love it, there aren't many good looking pirate female models out there. When can we buy one? You are going to have it cast, right? John Lee
CuCulain42
I like the fig except for the boots. It may be just camera angle or something but to me they look to anime-ish for a pirate.
Patrick
Thanks for all the great feedback everyone. If someone was interested in buying her for production I will likely go that route, otherwise, I found a couple of places that will cast it and we will offer it on our web site at some point. Humansquish
Looks great, but it looks to me like the legs are too short and a little thick. Can't wait to see more of your stuff.
Bodhi
it looks great. But why did you post it as a contest entry on the forum of doom thread for hasslefree miniatures pirate contest while you're saying here that you allready have a casting option for it? Seems a bit odd?
Anastrianna
So you're going to have this one cast and sell it, right? I'd buy her! Wow, very very nice.
Scorpion_Heritor
Shes gorgeous, I usually don't like pirate style minis but this one I would definitely add to my collection.
Patrick
it looks great. But why did you post it as a contest entry on the forum of doom thread for hasslefree miniatures pirate contest while you're saying here that you already have a casting option for it? Seems a bit odd? I don't have a casting deal for it yet. I can't guarantee Kev will be interested in it because I'm sure there will probably be some other cooler things to come along as the deadline gets closer. All was saying was, I would be interested in selling it, whether it's for the Hasslefree thing, or to another line. If nothing else, I may have a few cast up at some point on my own. I'm just thrilled at this point to have completed any kind of a figure at all. :D
