Ler
On some US late night show or something (I don't remember which one), they had Vin Deisel as a guest and at one point he was telling them how he used to play D&D and that his favourite char was a Drow. He also said he has a tatoo related to one of his characters.
Bill_Adcock
In Spongebob Squarepants, in the episode where Mr. Krabbs has a mid-life crisis, He spends an evening with Spongebob and Patrick trying to feel young again. There's a quick sequence of them playing a D&D type game, and on the table are a few miniatures, one of them of a seahorse-dragon.

Ironwulf
As this thread is "back from the dead", I'll mention the seventh season episode of Stargate:SG-1 "Avenger 2.0" in which the bumbling scientist Felger is shown working on a diorama of a stargate and minis of an SG team (basically US military), complete with those Vancouver pine trees! Just had to throw that in, considering I'm a big SG-1 fan....
Errex
What about that movie where a serial killer always leave at the crime a painted lead soldier, thus sending the investigating detective into a mad chase to acquire enough miniature lore to diferentiate between the primary suspect, a model train enthusiast, from the real killer, who happens to be the consultant they had hired. Froy The Orc
I may be wrong, but the movie "The Indian In The Cupboard" had some miniatures in them. My memory may be faulty though for it has been years since I have seen it.
styates
I'm pretty sure that the kid in Cloak and Dagger carries his mini's around with him.
Dragon Snack
There's a Magnum PI episode with minis in it! I haven't watched it yet, I've been taping it off the Hallmark channel (1 am to 3 am EST for you night owls) and noticed it at the end of the episode. I'll have an update on the episode when I get around to watching it...

Jeneki
My wife and I were watching "Dead Zone" the series on USA on Sunday and lo there were some Bretonnian Miniatures. I know because I have identical ones. So has GW seen this episode yet? I smell a lawsuit on our hands here!
