Turhan
No, that's the new one. Thanks though. I posted my pic over in the craft corner for Show Offs. I think the character name for the piece was Magnus, but I may be wrong. By teh way, how do you post a pic in the general forum? There was no browse/attach but below the post, and I have no idea how to do the Insert image button deal-- it always asks for a link to some page. I don't have a page to link to until I create the picture oh well, I'll find work arounds...

Turhan
Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I got 8 of 'em. Painted each one a bit differently, but with a central theme of the gray robe under a vari-colored, ornamented cloak, etc. Lots of fun. The faces did not lend themselves to much detail however since the beard and hat cover most everything up. No way to get in at the eyes, if I recall... Ithought the overall effect looked good, too. And the movement tray is helpful. As for the spell details, well, the book says 8 images max. I suppose that means I need one more figure as the 'real' guy, but I'm not willing to push my luck too far. 8 is enough. (1d4+ 1/three levels; topping out at 12th level caster, I think. Our group treats the "8th" image as the real character but the spell effect simply makes him as shifty as the 7 figments. Some years ago I did up 6 different Galladon figures (DHL 2114) in 6 different colors: red, black, green, blue, gray and brown. That looked pretty good too. ixminis
8 is enough. Wasn't that the show with Dick Van Patten?
Frankthedm
I thought they might have been the Circle of Sages from Crecent Lake in Final Fantasy 1 Mirror image all appear in your own square. It sucks when a non painter trys to get 4+ painted wizards into one sqare inch. Nice painting, could we see them in a line to compare detailing?
