Reaperbryan
And yes, Mine Aren't. I'm a big fan of coming up with color shcemes that totally buck the system - non-traditional but still useful. In that spirit, here's my Non-Traditional Orcs for my Reven Army. All of these are tabletop quality with very little to no lining. Kiakara, Bull Orc Warlord leader chick. The flesh tone goes to a deep red around the back, fading to orande then yellow-orange ont he pale soft underbelly. That's a theme you're about to see more of. a Berzerker. Note skin doesn't fade to yellow as hers does. I decided only female orcs went to yellow. Males go to orange and quit. Archers. Huh. Same theme, more clothes. This Bruag has some Bling (The Shield on his chest - with a nice Tarnish effect done by Orchid Noir) to distinguish him form the other Braug in my army (not pictured) so I call him Snoop Brauggy Braug. Note that Ogres fade From a Burgundy red to a bright red, not bright red to Orange. Still, the fade effect is there. Monsters should have soft underbellies . . . And my Harpy - patterned loosely after the Red-Wing Blackbird. I like her rather a lot. Face could use some highlights, but it's for tabletop, and I'm not likely to spend any time doing it . . . No Goblins finished yet, but they fade bright Blue to Violet (in a very non-smurf way). Anyway, I kept promising to post my Army, have fun looking at the Red Orcs of Khazareen. Sergeant_Crunch
Geez, next thing we know you'll be posting elves that don't have green cloaks! What's up with that?!?!? Seriously, that a cool scheme you got goin' on there.
Erion
I do like the blending on Kiakara quite a bit, but the name "Snoop Brauggy Braug" gets you two demerits, mister.
dargrin
Nice. They look like me after a day drinking at the beach in my youth.

Spartan6
But...but.. Orcs are GREEN! I think I really will paint my Overlords in blue and white.
styates
Love the unorthodox color scheme, Bryan! Way to think outside of the box!
Hyperion
I bet you we can see those orcs from space.
Kelcore
They're pretty good. Some attempts at techniques I've never seen you use before. Yadda-yadda. Too bad they'll die by turn two whenever you field them. Paint the bases, BTW. Spartan6 Posted Today, 11:10 AM I think I really will paint my Overlords in blue and white. ik_devil.gif DO IT!!!!!!! LMAO!
Spike
It's not that easy being green Having to spend each day the color of the leaves When I think it could be nicer being red, or yellow, or gold Or something much more colorful like that WAY TO GO RB! .... but I'm stickin' with my green-meanies. Bill_Adcock
I think I may have to do something similar with my River Troll...
Zinzig
Great blending, although i think opposing archers should get a bonus for accuracy or something...they'd be hard to miss on the battlefield...unless the field was on fire, then they'd blend right in...course then they might be on fire themselves... Uthgar
One of these days I'll have to get around to posting some picks, but in my Reven army I have green, red and gray orcs. I love different colors for the big green/red/gray nasties. Matt

LOL I was thinking the same thing! Every time I fight Kellinator's elves, I try to convince her that my orcs get a +1 to DV when they're in woods because they blend in so well..what with being greeeeeeeeen. Seems only fair..since those scrawny elves are skinny enough to hide in a corn field.
skavenbabe
I'm always a fan of painting outside the norm! I like the reds, maybe I'll do my next orc some strange color.. like purple or blue!
