Dragon Snack
Well, according to the delivery confirmation this guy has landed in Aloha-land so I figure I'm good to put him up. Painted for Grungydan (yeah, I forgot to put my letter in the mail with him - it was me). It was kind of tough to figure out what to paint since he had only a couple of posts, but his profile says he's a drummer and over at The Miniatures Page he said (when talking of the mini exchange) "Everyone can use more Dwarves", sooooo.... I went back and touched up the white spots on his base after the photo. I never have clear coat mess up on me when I do my own minis, but this is the third time it has done wacky things to me on an exchange mini (and it was a bubble and paint bleed on previous ones, so it messes up different each time). The eyes on this guy are frustrating, since he is bug-eyed. I thought of cutting them down with an exacto, but I didn't want to completely mess him up so I left them as is.
Turhan
Great horns. Great face. LIke them eyes!. Good job on the drumstick hand and drom head. Everyone needs more dwarves. Yep. The base looks a little bit unfinished around the edge, but the upper surface is very good. nice job. Great horns. Great face. LIke them eyes!. Good job on the drumstick hand and drom head. Humansquish
You did good on the eyes, and the leather for the drum is outstanding!

LordColdsteal
Nice job... I really like that helmet... what colors did you use to make it look old?
Dragon Snack
Thanks for the compliments all... He looks great, which figure is he? I'm not sure I've seen him before....Reaper????? Yep, Reaper. He's part of the Dwarven Command army pack (6042). Nice job... I really like that helmet... what colors did you use to make it look old? The helmet (and drum kettle) was simply MSP Scorched Metal (9125) with a thin glaze/wash of MSP Brown Liner (9064). The drum head is MSP Amber Gold (9032), PP Buckskin (8028), and MSP Linen White (9061) with the above mentioned glaze/wash if anyone is interested. I think I also did a glaze of Buckskin to knock down the Linen White and cover up some of the excess Brown Liner.
Prophet
The detail on the beard and the chainmail turned out very nice. It seemed to bring out the whole mini. Prophet
WintersRainne
Like the others - I love the face, beard and the blending on the helmet! Bit brighter pic maybe to show it off even better??
