cutebutpsycho
So, I enjoy painting women and I love Werner Klocke's sculpts (although Bobby Jackson is seriously starting to rival him in my book, might even outpace him, but that's mostly because of the lack of buckles and bare skin). I wanted to paint a Klocke mini, but wanted it to be clothed, so with help from my husband, I chose this one. I hope all of you enjoy her. I actually finished her in August, but it's taken me this long to post (I SWEAR I'm not that fast, I just had my wisdom teeth out and took FAR more time off to recover than I needed.) Feel free to take the images and do whatever it is you do to get them to chickinchainmail's gallery. I don't remember what I'm supposed to do with them.
Sergeant_Crunch
Very nice. You managed to use red and green without looking Christmas-y. I love this sculpt, only reason it isn't on my wish list is because my wife would have a heart attack if she saw how many minis I really want. Nice shading and highlighting throughout the mini. Jabberwocky
Very nice work there! I think you did a splendid job on the face! The log she is standing on is excellent, too.
WintersRainne
I love her face - great eyes in a tight spot, the green of the skirt is a great contrast to the muted tones of the cloak, and I too really like what you did with the log! Good job all around!
mysticeyes42
I love my mini. It is on my shelf of honor. If you think the pictures are good(which they are), you should see it in real life, it's way better. Thanks again for the great mini. Buggeye
Excellent work here Erin. You certainly have come a long way in a very short time (having joined the thursday painting club less than a year ago). Your base fu on this one is very strong indeed. jhilahd
That cloak is way cool! I love how it looks heavy and well used. Your highlights help create that look. Great job. I'll be sure to visit Mysticeyes42 and "borrow" this, unless sirikus beats me to it. Jhilahd
LordColdsteal
Excellent work. I really like the cloak. The quiver stands out to me too. Nice fletching.
Jubilee
Beautiful work! I love the greenish-gray on the cloak - very nice! Good combination of colors - she looks nice and earthy. She probably could use some more dark-lining around her chin - especially between flesh & hair - but it's pretty minor and you can only see it 'cause of the extreme close up (good picture taking there!) /ali
Vil-hatarn
Pretty. I have two of her, but haven't painted either. You don't seem to have had any difficulty with the massive number of different materials. That's thrown me every time--too many colors. Nice job.
