You really should use a spray seal over pigma pens. Even then, if you use the wrong one, it may 'bleed' a bit (but not run, just get a little of a 'halo' around what you drew with the pen). I use testors dell coat, and I've had no problems with it... but I need to do like 3 VERY light coats. I've also had good luck with citadel spray sealer...

I love the pigma pens, but all i use is spray finish.  I'd tell you to use it before you do any sealing. I usually basecoat, shade, highlight, details and usually do stuff like dotting the eyes when i detail, with my pen, then spray.
