Did I mention gnomes? Gnomes like the ones in World of Warcraft would be great. Particularly gnome chicks. I have 7 gnome chick characters in that game right now. I loves 'em.

Edit:

Here are some pictures. :-)

I was disappointed with this figure. I realise that it can't be made to look exactly like the D&D monster for copyright reasons, but this one was so different that I couldn't really see a lot of resemblance to an umber hulk at all.

Thanks for the link, Mooseyjoe. I agree with alchemist. I mean no disrespect to Mr. Brower (the sculptor), whose vision is certainly original and intimidating. I just remember the Jeff Dee illustration set in the text of C2: Ghost Tower of Inverness. THAT has been my idea of an umber hulk ever since...

...with a little more color, of course. ::):

And, while I'm at it, how about a large, carnivorous, prehistoric flightless bird (phororhacos, I think?). Something like that chocobo thing my kids' FF7 guys used to ride around on. I can think of some interesting conversions to make some "flightless-bird cavalry"... ::P:

According to alliance-games.com Reaper has a "Hooked Hulk" (#3069) coming out soon that may be similar to what you're looking for. Is it an umber hulk, or a hooked horror? I guess we'll just have to wait....

Of course, the next one, 3070 is called "Mag Blackscar, half-orc assassin " will be eagerly awaited.

How about anything mounted, on anything but horses and wolves. I collect mini's for the variety, and to paint really cool looking stuff. So give me some cool stuff, Amazons mounted on tigers, Griffon riders, Dwarf Ram riders, Orcs and pigs, Elephant riders, I second the War Mammoth, and anything else you can think of that you ever thought when you were a kid, wow that would be cool to ride.

How about elves on Elk, or, well you get the picture...

I'll third the "more female everything, as long as they're dressed/armored decently" request... about 85% of the pieces I buy for role-playing are female (and for the wargaming, I'll take the armies with more females most of the time...if they're decently clothed and armored). The rest are monsters or surprises for my husband.

Along the same lines of that amazon riding tiger idea, Bladesisters riding tigers wielding long slender greatswords would be just too cool for a Merc solo or cavalry unit.

Name: Bladesister Beastmaster

Affiliation: Mercenary/Neutral

Model: Adept or Solitaire (?)

Base: Large

Pts: ???

#MA: 2

#RA: -

Dmg: 2 damage tracks

Mov: 8

Dis: 7

MAV: 4

RAV: -

Rng: -

DV: 12

CP: -

MD: 11

SA: Breaker, Cavalry, Horrid, Mounted, Ranger, Tough/2

This would keep the bladesister unit's SA's (Breaker, Ranger, Tough/1) and add cavalry (she's mounted), horrid (it's a freakin' tiger), mounted (again she's mounted), and increase the tough just a bit (she's riding a freakin' tiger, you'd be tougher too). If you removed the SA: Cavalry I'd either add another damage track or increase the tough to Tough/3.

I'm still undecided if this would be a better fit as an adept or solo model, or it could be used as a solo under normal circumstances and as an Adept under Nicole's command.

Yay! Some one else besides me thinks there is a sierius sortage on feline people. And I don't just mean were-tigers and such. I mean honest to god cloath wearing feline people as a race. I'm currently trying to make one using a were-tiger mini I found. But I beleave there should deffenitly be more furry people. Such as foxs, dogs, ox, deer, boar, so on and so forth. And not just warriors but also common folk I mean they've got to come from some where there's got to be some cublings and kits running around, and shop keepers, and some different classes and things.

On a side note dose any one know what that green modling stuff is called that they use to sculpt the mini is called and where I can get it? I have to make custum cloathes and weapons. Private message me if you know or got anythoughts where to look. Thanks.

Dinosaur riders ... and Japanese stuff.

[*]unarmoured gothic vampires, men and women

[*]werecreatures in shredded clothing

[*]late 18th/early 19th century townsfolk/nobles

[*]half vampire vampire hunter with traveller's hat, large sword on back, and face on left palm

[*]pixies without clothes

I don't think they can do the one with the face on his hand they'd be sewed by the corperation that made Vampire Hunter D. You could always just go out and buy the modle like I did.
