Rastl
Checklist so far: RCon ticket - check RCon classes - check Flight - check LQ reservation - check Rental car - not yet Rental car isn't a big deal to get right away. Those prices are pretty stable. <edited to move my ride offer to the right forum. D'oh!>
Darin W
I am so there! Been collecting minis for years, but I will be a new face at ReaperCon 06. A hearty 'Hello!' to everyone. I've signed up for Basic, Advanced, and Face sculpting classes. I am really excited to meet everyone.

Whyspyr
I'm sad to say that I won't be able to make it to ReaperCon this year after all I was really looking forward to seeing Lili and Flynn and everyone again-Kit isn't kidding when he says that Reaper peeps are even nicer in person! I even have an entry ready for the painting contest and was looking forward to taking Lili's Fur and Feathers class and Anne's Dragon class. I will just have to console myself by placing a big order at the Asylum!
Enchantra
Well aside from my very random postings lately due to RL stuff, I AM STILL COMING, and I may have roped in a Texas friend into coming to the con as well. Everyone still want that decadent chocolate fudge cake????? I plan on arriving Thursday either late morning or early afternoon. I'm waiting on my income tax return to book plane tickets. I'm hoping that gets here in about two to three weeks.
haldir
all I'm waiting for as well, tax return = ticket. I think I'm gonna purchase a new camera before I go as well, figured what they hey. Got a new puter early last month, might as well upgrade the camera around the same time as well.

Saint of Sinners
REVEN HORDLINGS UNITE!!!!!!! Oh, crap, and I think the only Dwarves in attendance will be Saint and myself. But, as the old saying goes, one good Dwarf is worth 100 Orcs. ahhh, this might be a bad time to mention this but I still don't got my dwarves painted
Qwyksilver
No worries there SoS. Most of my Reven are in the same state they were last RCon as well. There's just more of them now I've actually been painting 3 nights in a row, which for me is quite the miracle.
larrystraining
This is all kind of new to me. I know how to prime a figure...I know how to put paint on a figure...but my skill stops there. So one day I was looking at a catalog at the local shop that has minis and I see this ReaperCon. How cool is that, a con where I can go and possible learn how to paint a miniature half way decent. I bought a ticket right away. I will be attending, and I hope I do not embarass myself too much. But I am really looking forward to this. I want to paint miniatures well. Please be gentle with me ;). pae
Larry -- This is a great place to pick up tips and see some really nice paintjobs. People here are always willing to give you advice and answer questions. ReaperCon is even better than participating on the forums...you'll have access to some of the best painters in the world. Lots of fun to be had by all.

Of course I'd still would need to figure out what to do with the remaining 500pts... hmmmm
Enchantra
I bought my plane tickets yesterday...Woot! Cost of a round trip ticket with a layover at O'Hare: $350 Cost of a Non-stop ticket Rochester to Dallas: $380 Cost of not spending two three hour layovers at O'Hare and getting home earlier in the day on Monday May 8th: PRICELESS! I LOVE direct flights. I also love income tax returns.
