Sergeant_Crunch
I definitely need to sit in a color theory class, maybe then my wife will stop teasing me about painting all my minis red, blue or gray. Also need one on layering/highlighting. Can't wait for the schedule to be hammered out and published. I think I'll leave sculpting for another year, unless there's a "Using Greenstuff to Fill Gaps" class. Looks like I'll need that for my Hill Giant, maybe I'll bring him with to work on as I doubt I'll get to him before May.
Saint of Sinners
I'll be going again... After all, if I don't then where is everyone going to drink and smoke after hours. Not to mention whose going to drink all of Spartan's Flow Aid

Qwyksilver
I have the absolutely greatest wife in all the world!!! She told me to go. The baby will be 3 weeks after the Con, and if god forbid, she goes into labor early, while I am there, it's a 3 hour flight and planes leave for Boston every 2 hours. When it was announced, and I saw who was going, I was bummed. She turned around and told me to get the tickets and go. It will be my last chance to go and do something like this for awhile. I have the absolutely greatest wife in all the world!!! So. I have a plane ticket and I just ordered my Con ticket. Any and all rematches from last year. Let's dance bub Shiner Con will be had. I'll get to hang out and spend time with all the great friends I've made here over the years. Did I mention I have the absolutely greatest wife in all the world!!! Just for the love of God, don't be so hot this year. I will be arriving on Thursday around Noon, and leaving on Monday at 11. Please have that casting class again. Please please please
Sergeant_Crunch
Just for the love of God, don't be so hot this year. It's Texas, don't count on that. Glad to see you can make it. And there was much rejoicing. {Yaaaay!}
cutebutpsycho
YEE-HAW Qwyksilver, good for you. That's a pretty great wife you've got there. What better gifts could you ask for than Reaper-con followed closely by mini-Qwyk? We'll look forward to seeing you there.....
Enchantra
Hey Qwyk, don't forget when you head home from the con to take home with you a really nice gift for her because your wife deserves one for letting you go. Oh and Qwyk, it's May, Texas will already be warm, so yes it might be hot there. I'm packing shorts, because I don't like overheating. I know from actually living for a month in Dallas at the end of graduate school that Texas is already hot that time of year. It's why G-d invented air conditioning and shorts. Spartan6
Does this mean Qwyk wins "first Reaperbaby" this year?
Enchantra
Does this mean Qwyk wins "first Reaperbaby" this year? I do believe you might be correct unless someone else gives birth first.
Qwyksilver
There's a difference between warm, hot and oh my god, I'm melting. Last year it was 105. I'm okay with like 85-90. I can tolerate it. 105 is just plain evil. Fat guys + heat = bleech
tabascojunkie
I don't know where the heat came from last year. It had been nice here up until that day, in the 80's or something. It was definitely smokin' last time.

Sergeant_Crunch
I've learned the trick is to stay where the AC is as much as possible. Sometimes easier said than done.
haldir
well i seen your post on the lodging & stuff, so I guess that means your going, Qwyk?!? he he Sweet glad you can make it, my wife is all for me going as well as well. She knows how much I miss not playin D&D with my freinds on a regular basis anymore & besides she can get rid of me for a weekend, at least once a year, ha ha being from the desert side of ole Oregon, heat don't bother me, not to mention I spent some time (2 or 3 months) in Georgia about 16 years ago, so I was ready for the heat, heck I HAD to go outside with the outlaws (ie the smokers, he he) to escape the freezer that Reaper HQ has in there!! Funny thing was I packed a pair of pants, WHY?! only time I wore them was on the planetrip down there!! Heck I'll wear shorts when it's colder then all heck outside, then again being one of the big masses in the world I can afford to shed some clothing in colder weather. btw (I'll have updated luggage this time, ha ha no more 1950s suitcase!!) ha ha RM
