ecs05norway
One thing I've noticed about big, powerful, expensive solos, like the Hill Giant. They attract a lot of attention, for several reasons. 1) They kick huge amounts of butt if you let them. 2) Their stat-lines are enough to scare the **** out of you. 3) They're often big, well-cast, and hopefully well-painted minis, so look imposing on the field. Which means that, in general, they get mobbed and dragged down pretty quickly. By, in general, about a third to half of the opponent's army. Anyone else had similar experience? Anyone consider just letting them get mobbed, then Firestorming them? That huge base size makes them a nice target for it, and you'll take out a huge chunk of the opposing army. Comments on similar uses for these monsters are welcome.
