eastman
Of all the entries I had in the recent Femme Fatales contest, this was the best one, so I'm posting her here. (eventually, I'll post the old DHL Medusa, but not until I get her cobra painted and the 2 of them on a drop-in cavalry base).
Stubbdog
nice shading and highlighting on that dress. Is that a wash or just layer blending?
mousekiller
I like it. Nice all around. How did you get the ball to come out so good?
eastman
nice shading and highlighting on that dress. Is that a wash or just layer blending? There is a little bit of wet blending on the dress, but it is mostly layering and glazes using the Marine Teals triad. I like it. Nice all around. How did you get the ball to come out so good? The Ball is layered/wet blended metallics over a brown (I think it was muddy brown MSP) the bottom of the ball is scorched metal through the bronze and gold triad with a top highlight of polished silver. mlavanish
Nice job. The blending is great.
skya
Ah, she turned out quite nice. Thought I recognized that one in the contest.
Stern Kestrelmann
iOLD SCHOOL REAPER MODEL! Nice piece E-man. Good to see you posting something. I like the colors and blending on her gown. The flesh tone is also nice. That gold ball needs sumpin' though, seems a bit flat IMO. Still solid work. Paint on Herr Eastman. SK
Krztoff
I love the color choices. I'm normally not a fan of anything teal, but it looks great here. The face and hair look wonderful, as does the ball.
Lastman
Another example of your fantastic hair skill.
Artists Wren Posted March 24, 2006 Artists Share Posted March 24, 2006 I love the dress, the colour is just so natural looking, and the end result has a great soft, fabric-like look. The hair is also super, colour sets off the dress colour perfectly.
graphtjb
nice base and color scheme. Why did you chose a gold orb? Thomas James Bowman Graphtjb
eastman
Ah, she turned out quite nice. Thought I recognized that one in the contest. Since I've been working on her on & off since last May (started the Teals at RCon 05), I'm not too surprised that she was recognized. nice base and color scheme. Why did you chose a gold orb? Thomas James Bowman Graphtjb The gold was my second idea. I started with a globe, but I didn't like the way it was looking, so I painted over it and went metallic. I picked gold over silver since it would complement the purple.
Lawgiver
The blush on the cheeks looks. That and the eyes really bring out the intensity of the model. The hair is also well done.
