Erion
Space Above and Beyond. Otherwise known as Even more Great Sci-Fi Killed by Fox in its infancy.
Nanite
I always thought of myself as a big Firefly fan, but seems like there's a fanatical level of browncoats that just can't live without more firefly. They got blamed for nerd backlash against Serenity too, odd. I never got into Space: Above and Beyond. Battlestar is amazing though. It's on Sci-fi, which worries the heck out of me. They may always kill it for another Stargate spinoff.
Hexxenhammer
Yeah, my buddy who hangs out on "Ain't it cool news" blames the fanatical Browncoats for him never wanting to watch Firefly just out of spite.
SaintRigger
Joss fans in general make me very very unfortable - Browncoats especially. Worse than mentally unbalanced trekkies in my book.

Worse than mentally unbalanced trekkies in my book. *stands really close to Saintrigger* So I played the "Buffy" boardgame with my Slayer's Circle friends from the old days this weekend. I got them all to watch Firefly and they all loved it despite being female. I'm also painting them all the "Captain Nathan" mini from Heresy. Hexxenhammer
Don't make me hit you. I already painted them "Buffy" minis. They all got a Buffy, but whether they got Spike or Angel depended on who they liked more. I'll stop now. It's all true, but I suddenly feel dirty... SaintRigger
I bought the Rezolution minis that look like Deckard and Rachel. :) I'm going to get a spinner from Grendel - so I definately have my dorkside too.
Sivrel
OK... heres my two cents worth. A 2nd season of firefly will only be worth watching (in my opinion) if it's both done by Joss Whedon AND has the same cast of actors/actresses. P.S. I didn't watch that much of Battlestar Galactica but most of what I had seen was pretty good.
Nanite
I have to scratch my head at any ongoing 'Firefly effort' since Serenity kinda was the second (and third-ish) season of Firefly, Whedon himself has said as much.
CyberShadow
The rumour that I heard was that this season two effort was spearheaded by a guy who wanted to purchase the lot... but that Joss knew very little about it and was not enthusiastic. I also doubt that the original cast would be involved. In general, even if this does happen, it simply wont be Firefly to me.
Dragon Snack
After Serenity, even Joss' Firefly wouldn't be Firefly to me. Not that I wouldn't watch...
Tsetsen Muur
Don't make me hit you. I already painted them "Buffy" minis. They all got a Buffy, but whether they got Spike or Angel depended on who they liked more. I'll stop now. It's all true, but I suddenly feel dirty... I used to moderate a Buffy board (The spoiler-spaced "BuffyBB"), as Amnachaidh I used to get together with between 15 and 6 people to watch Buffy and Angel weekly - or movies during the summer. I would like to see the Firefly cast be used in ensemble pieces. They seem to like each other and are under contract for 2 more movies anyway. Something inexpensive to make like "Best in Show" or "State and Main".
gwangi32
I would have liked to see an ongoing Firefly series on SciFi. But the actors have moved on. The chemistry would change, with new actors. But, a new series in the same milieu would be neat. The SF/western thing is the type of space opera I really enjoy. I think Battlestar Galactica is an incredible show. I enjoyed the original way back when, but this one is quite a bit better. One thing about Serenity, it's the only Science Fiction that my wife really likes, which includes the Firefly series. She tolerates Star Wars and sometimes te old Star Trek stuff, doesn't care for Battlestar, Stargate or Andromeda. So I believe that Firefly would have had wider appeal than shows that have "made" it, if it had been supported better. As a show I think it's over, but maybe we'll get some good movies!! Froy The Orc
My local Game store has started producing fliers to send to the different television stations to try and get somone to bring it back. They also have a display case set up in dedication to Firefly. Kinda eery.
