I don't know which scared me more... the fact that there are folks out there who have already sent away for one...

..or the fact that Dr Khadim is also the name of my ObGyn. :P

The whole procedure takes only a few minutes and is virtually painless.*

*This statement has not been evaluated by the FDA.

Oh, I just love that statement and the illustration really gives me a sense of confidence in this product, especially the warning to not blink.

Did this site perchance go up on the 1st?

Was that illustration done in Paint? Looks very hokey to me.

It's got to be a joke, sort of like that "Bonsai Kitty" site.

Of course, I'm sure that people will believe that the site is for an actual product. Probably says "haha, it's a joke!" if you actually try to order.

I'd mail em a flashlight tied to the end of a knitting needle. Tell them if they're dumb enough to try at-home Lasik, just jab this in, it will be the same effect.

Eh, between staring at computer screens all day and squinting at minis all night, I'm slowly destroying my eyes anyway. Might as well just buy this and get it overwith all at once.

I discovered this site yesterday.

When you try to buy one, you get an error.

The inventor wears glasses.

The illustration shows someone with perfect sight standing next to an archery target.

And the wisp of smoke. Let's not forget that wonderful, delightful, and hilarious bit of satire...

Plus, the T-shirts and whatnot link to a cafepress site.

besides, that Lasik device looks like one of my Mom's old kitchen-aid mixers.

A very high-quality hoax site, if nothing else.

You know, with some modification, you could probably increase the power of the laser so that it just goes ahead and burns right into the brain. Nearsightedness (and many other problems) solved!
