Sergeant_Crunch
Turned around for a minute and my son superglued my W&N S&7! That is not going to help the cause.
Remy Soujirou
Super glue... not exactly Neosporin, but I can see how it'd work. -Remy
Sharky
Had a good time in Austin, most filling and minor sculpting is finished, time to spend the next 12 days painting - rAr!

pae
I'm hoping to get entry #4 completed in the next three days. That will give me a week to get #5 done before I start driving to Texas.
haldir
Flynn--------- I wish I could crank them out like that, I use to, hopefully this Rcon really says "you gotta paint more" for me RM
pae
Well, considering I've been working on these for nearly two months now (and at one point had 9 figures in the WIP stages), I don't really consider this to be "cranking them out". I'm just finally starting to get them all finished.

haldir
"moment of silence" ouch, well look at this way, you can pick some Reaper Master brushes now, ha ha Flynn, I just wish I could get one finished before the Con, with this darn slump & other things just being able to see 4 finished would be an acheivement for myself, ha ha RM
Sergeant_Crunch
The other thing that hasn't helped is that I took a couple days off becuase my mom is visiting. In the last three days I got a Dictator mostly based with red. I may have to hang out in the painting room on Thursday night to finish off my vehicles. At least those are relatively easy compared to the CAVs.
Dancin'Debby
I want to see what Mengu brings! --Jen Yeah, you and me both. Unfortunately he's been a little distracted (okay - a lot) by some miniatures hailing from the Seattle area for the past month or so. Some companies just have really bad timing for releasing major games Makes the boys go all ga ga for metal and playing instead of painting. I hope he finishes it... debby *who doesn't have a leg to stand on in the completed/started projects department*
Remy Soujirou
4 minis prepped, pinned and based... just need a sunny day to prime them. heh It'll be interesting to see how these guys turn out given the time constraint. -Remy
eastman
Turned around for a minute and my son superglued my W&N S&7! That is not going to help the cause. I had a S7 get attacked by superglue before. Rinse the tip in acetone for a few seconds then touch it to a paper towel. Repeat the process until the brush tip is soft and springy (instead of hard and crunchy from the SG). Then rinse with tap water for a little while to get the acetone out. Give the brush a super coat of brush conditioner (I used Pink Soap) and let it sit, preferably for a couple of days. Rinse thoroughly with water before using. The brush of mine (a 00) is still going strong nearly 2 years later. As always YMMV.
Sergeant_Crunch
Phew, I was going to try CA debonder, but if acetone works I'll try that. Glad to know there's still hope. Thanks!
Rastl
Layer 437 is on the mini. Or at least it seems like that many. I don't know if I'll get my second entry done. Too much to do, not enough time. Isn't that always the way? Anyway I had started the skin tones for the other entry and while they're nice and smooth something about them just doesn't say 'Enter me in the ReaperCon painting contest!' When the minis start to speak, time to take a break.
