Erion
yeah.. whiskey tango foxtrot, mate. do we need to hold an intervention? Already there: http://www.reapermini.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=28383 And it was the epic squig, so it was less then a car payment. At least. I've even received a spousal approval to buy a 40k scale revenant titan to use with apocalypse. I just can't birng myself to actually do it. I'll wait until next year to see if we start to hear more rumblings about getting one in plastic.
Nanite
Ok I got part of my Last! Miniature! Order! Ever! The Forgeworld tiny Ork Battlewagons are very detailed, but some of the casting is thin. Lots of parts, breathing while working on them is not recommended, and sneezing is right out. They'll work great for my Dark Realm force though. I'm still waiting on the tiny-giant Sqigg.

OK, so just how many exhaust pipes were you left with? I have never heard of a single pack of these things arriving without a single loss. But, it does make them more Orky. Nanite
Everything but one gunner arrived in one piece, and that was just a broken foot. No big deal, since I'll be converting the orks anyway.

SaintRigger
What is going to murder me is I guess the next force that FW is going to release will be the Adeptus Mechanicus. :/ I held strong at the Death Korp, barely. Now I'm looking for a doctor to remove a kidney and maybe my spleen for e-bay.
Tannhauser
Yeah, when I look book at what I spent on acquiring my current Cadian army along with the Forgeworld Cadia Respirator upgrade packs, I could have gone for a Krieg army instead. But then, I guess the uniqueness of my own army would be lost.
Erion
Fortunately, I don't play Guard, so I'm not as tempted to buy a whole army from FW. Unfortunately When All is said and done by this time next year I wll likely have spent $500 -$1000 to buy stuff from them to supplement my Tau. Their take on the Broadside simply blows the plastic and metal kit out of the water. And with the advent of Apocalypse I finally have a reason to grab a few Barracudas, maybe a Tiger Shark and Orca Eventually.
Nanite
Ha! They've got your right where they want you, with just a little shove it's: "Hmmm, I'm spending all this, why not get a Manta?"
Erion
See, I'm just a little bit south of nuts. Buying that Manta is absolutely bats*** insane. Unless an unforseen lottery winning happens in my future. :)
Nanite
Sounds like GW will no longer be making any minis for specialist games, ever. Officially anyway, that's been the general attitude for a long time. There was a blurb over on the warseer.com forums. Doesn't sound like it applies to Forgeworld's efforts, but who knows? Lars Porsenna
To make sure we are perfectly clear, the rumor is that GW will not be making any new figures for the specialist ranges. If this means all FW all the time, I'll not mind since some of the Epic stuff I saw there is better than the GW lines... Damon.
CyberShadow
Just to make this absolutely clear, I believe that there will be no new SG output until 'Specialist Games have been re-organised'. (Yeah, I know!) The party line is that there will be a restructuring, giving each SG game its own 'division'. However, even GW say that this will be at least a couple of years, and most of the people who actually know the company dont believe that it will ever happen. This does not apply to FW. However, they did pull production of a Tyranid Epic Harridan a while ago because there was no supporting range for it. Therefore, I suspect that they will at the least not produce anything that doesnt fit in with existing FW lines, or Aeronautica stuff. I will be attempting to finish off my EA Tau force as fast as I can. Generally, I am seriously unhappy about this development.
Nanite
Huh, you would think FW would want the Harridan for Aeronautica? If SG gets restructured, good deal, but it just sounds like more of the same lousy treatment.
