Nanite
Hmm. I'm trying to be all optomistic, but since it doesn't cover the board or specialist games, I'm really not all that interested. What are the odds FFG pulls a Mongoose? SaintRigger
they've been really impressive with their releases, and seem to have a big following.
Erion
Curiously, there was a shake-up in GW's leadership a few months ago, so this may be a part of the results of the changes in strategic leadership. Hopefully this means a move to make the company more responsive to customers and improve the product line. Damon. Yeah. This took me totally off guard. It's very very unlike GW to allow product initially developed in-house to be licensed for production by a third party. Now, if we could just get them to let a third party take over the handling of bitz... Hmm. I'm trying to be all optomistic, but since it doesn't cover the board or specialist games, I'm really not all that interested. What are the odds FFG pulls a Mongoose? FFG is pretty good about releases, and they've seemingly fixed the worries with AT-43 Releases, at least in the US. They've got a couple of in-house games (Runebound & Descent) that I play have been getting ongoing support for at least a few years now with updates and expansions every few months. armydillo978
I'm a bit bummed that Space Hulk may not be a FFG product, but I'd be thrilled if FFG could re-do Epic or Man O'war, two other awesome games. Perhaps some new figures, or at least a new run of 'Nids. I know, I know. Dream on.

Nanite
I have no idea how FFG is organized. I do know their products get great buzz for quality, though they take their time on releases. The tanhauser support is a positive, and they have really helped turn around people's opinions about AT-43 (releases on time!).
kristof65
I posted as such over at the FFG forum as well - between here, there and the BI forum, there are a lot of people who are disappointed that Space Hulk isn't part of the agreement. I proposed over there that we wait a year or so, see how the whole license thing is working out, and if it's going well, then start a letter writing campaign to get GW to let FFG publish Space Hulk as a pure board game. Erion
but make the board spaces big enough for 40mm bases.
Nanite
So if rumor and innuendo holds out, this summer will see the release of $8 snap-together packs for several armies. Each one includes 3-5 models, and those leaked Cadian snaps are part of it. The IG one is about $1.60 a figure, and that's cheap ya'll, even if they are snap-together. http://warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?p...d=1#post2573461 Edit: So they're even cheaper the the 20-man guard box. Geeze, these things are perfect for me. I balk at the thought of buying into a whole army, but I can't resist something like this. Before you know it, I've got enough for a starter force, and I start adding a Sentinel or two, and it's over, I'm hooked.
Lars Porsenna
Indeed, but I wish GW went with something OTHER than Cadians for variety... Damon.
Nanite
Apocalypse is spooling up again. Between that and 5th edition, it has completely distracted most FLSG shoppers from other lines.
SaintRigger
I'm slowly working on a Dork Angels army - but lately all my purchasing has gone into the new plastic skellertins

Heisler
The coming of 5th edition has finely broken the back of my ex brother-in-law. He has been playing since the Rogue Trooper days and has decided that with the rumors he is hearing about the changes that they have finally crossed the line for him. He is going to put his massive Ork army up for sale.
