Adenosine
I know its not Reaper, but my buddy has been wanting to try out Warmachine so I was doing up a box set to play. Well anyway here is a warcaster for my "tabletop army". Could be cleaner but its going to get handled alot. BTW what is a good spray finish to protect gaming mini's that can be bought at hobby lobby? Here are the pics (camara was on the fritz sorry ) Comments welcome!
twiztidjuggalo78
1 Thin layer of any Gloss finish and then 3-4 thin coats of Testors Dull Cote. Great job on the mini!! Dont like GW stuff but looks good.
mousekiller
I don't think that is GW, but in fact Warmachine. Although, it does resemble some of the mini's that GW tends to produce in its 40K range. Great work Andenosine. Very solidly done, and not too "dirty" as you say.
Sergeant_Crunch
That turned out very well. Good job. For protection on working minis I give two coats of Future and then hit it with a couple coats of Krylon matte finish.
Naughty Tentacle Monster
Testors Dullcote, cheap and efficient. Gorten's a fun caster to start with. Add some Boomhowler Trolls and cast solid ground on them and watch your opponent try to kill them. -NTM
Remy Soujirou
Nice job. For gaming, I'd recommend spraying a coat of Testor's Gloss Varnish and then a few coats of Testor's Dull Cote to kill the sheen. Be sure to let each coat dry completely before applying the next. Then you could add a paint-on Gloss Varnish or Satin Varnish on any metallic parts on the mini to bring back the metal's sheen. Satin Varnish is less shiny than Gloss; more shiny than Matte (Dull Cote). -Remy
