Vinny
Alright, here's a basic map of the main central parts of Vigil City (yes, its the map from San Andreas cut down and patched up into oneness... ) Alright, here's the main locations: Downtown Vigil (where you are currently)- Imagine Manhattan or downtown Metropolis. Huge skyscrapers, lots of hotels, restaurants, both fancy and cheap. Department stores, jewelry stores, banks, corporate headquarters, a very metropolitan area. West Vigil- Residential district, although with a few projects here and there. A large population of poor minorities has increased crime rates in this district. Near the hub of Downtown to the eastern edge of West Vigil is Chinatown. To the far western edge until the city outskirt is mostly residential areas. Gangs of street thugs and hoodlums have called West Vigil home, including the Vaqueros (a Latin-American gang) and the High Jacks (a white gang, imagine the Jets from Westside Story). Sunset- The suburban region. A diverse population lives here, and the region is scattered with a few commercial areas. Crime rate is currenlty low. East County- Tenament blocks, smoky pool halls, run-down bars. If you're looking for a cheap hooker, a bad drink, or getting beat over the head with a bat by a guy named Tony, this is your place. The precense of organized crime is high, most likely because of the close proximity to the Vigil City Docks. Currently, there is an uneasy cooperation between the various mafia families and crime organizations, including prominent factions like the Marcellos, the Loritzies, and a few small time Russian and Columbian cartels. Police presense is low, and those that are present are bribed and crooked. The Vigil City Penitentiary is located here. Prestonwood- A commercial district. Home to the Vigil City County University, a very esteemed school that yields some of the greastest minds in mathematics and science. Dockside- Imports and exports go in and out on huge bulks ships. From legitemate stuff like TVs and radios to smuggled narcotics and firearms, they are all stored and supervised in the many warehouses along this part of town. Outtown- The outskirts. Interstates, highways. A few farms and such. Occasionally, there's a run-down diner or gas station. Biker gangs rollling in packs can be common around here. Subways staions connect the city, although they ae most common in Downtown Vigil. (any questions are welcomed, just in case there's anything unclear)
Vinny
Second Part of City Map- Monuments- Vigil City City Hall- The mayor is here along with the city council and everything necessary to run the city. It is located in south Prestonwood. Our Father's Cathedral- A large, gothic church located in Downtown Vigil. An aged monument, the large building is dwarved by the skyscrappers that surrounds it. Vigil City County University- VCCU is a highly reputed school, home to some of the greatest minds. Located in Prestonwood. Grand Plaza Hotel- A five-star luxury hotel in Downtown Vigil. Celebreties and millionaires frequent this place and its the preferable stay for visiting dignitaries and ambassadors. Crane Tower- The largest skyscrapper in Vigil City. Base of operations for the Crane Manufacturing and Distribution Industry, Vigil City's most sucessful tycoon. Multi-millionaire Thomas Crane, the founder and CEO of Crane Industry, lives in a guarded luxury suite on the top floor. Located right in the middle of Vigil City. Vigil City Gazette- Headquarter of the Vigil City's reputed newspaper. The office building is located right across from the looming Crane Tower. Vigil City Penetentiary- Location for incarcerated criminals. Located in East County.
Qwyksilver
Not that this little dance is fun and all, but given what happened in each of our scenes, I'd have a hard time finding the mugger bit taking longer than the bank heist clean up, including all the travel time. There's a time lag in posting, but not likely in game. Just something to think about.
Outkast Samurai
Yeah but you got stuck with a stuip mugger and it took him time to think things out

Vinny
And don't forget the shoot-first-and-don't-bother-asking-anything procedure Criket and Pulse took. But otherwise, yeah, I'm going a bit fast cuz of the split up instances and keeping the action rolling. I'll slow it down to wait for everone to post before updating My apologies. :update: And don't forget the shoot-first-and-don't-bother-asking-anything procedure Criket and Pulse took. haldir
ok, hopefully I've gotten Cyper up to speed with everyone, basically gonna judge what's going on & then annouce myself, not gonna hide & view from afar, mainly just seein if you guys are freind or foe. (where I left off) btw, my English for the sake of simplicity of the game, is the same as your's, no language barrier between the us, also remember that she has been in Vigil for 4 or 5 years, thus she knows a bit about the place, how things run & other stuff. thought I'd let you guys know on that part. Thou I could find some English to elfin language generator on the web & convert all my speak to that for yah, HA HA HA RM
Vinny
Ok, guys. What's the course of action? The cathedral is about thirty minutes away at a walking pace. Hopping rooftops would shorten the distance by 1/3 or so. Zapping through electric cables would deposit the shocker across the street from the cathedral, as there seems to be no electric connection from the cathedral to the rest of the city. The cops are looking, so you can disguise yourselves, take a cab, or perhaps, use the sewers, or whatever else you can think of. If you want to go somewhere else, say the University, it might take a bit more time, especially with the cops on alert for "costumed psychos" running around. Btw, are you planning to go around the city wearing your costumes only (well, save for Eddie, who lacks one)? Which also brings up another topic: How does Cyphershot hide her "elf" looks? haldir
other then Cypher being a light blue, her hair is long enough that she can hide her ears pretty good, plus other then the brightly colored clothes she wears, not really a super costume. She does have a sweatshirt with a hood (of course it's brightly colored) she can use to cover up her skin & head , if needed RM
Unglef
I've been not paying attention lately. Sorry. I'll post more frequently in the future.
Qwyksilver
I've been not paying attention lately. Sorry. I'll post more frequently in the future. I think we all sort of took the last month off Ben. No worries.
Qwyksilver
My apologies for not having posted yet. I missed Vinny's posting on the 28th and had to unexpectedly head out to Ohio from the 5th through the 19th due to a death in the family. I just saw there was some new stuff up. I'll put up something tonight so I don't keep holding us all back.
