tjb
does CoH/CoV have a monthly fee? yes coh/cov does have online time fees....you can buy a time card for a two month worths of time....or you can use your credit card to purchase 6 months or a years worth of time....of course more bulk time, cheaper online play time per hour....!! it is a massive online roleplay game....with peaple from all over the world....you can have ingame friends from japan...australia etc...every corner of the world...!!! but it does have problems...such as...when the many servers get busy...you may experience lag...ie studdering or whats called rubber banding.......you run or walk while playing...in one direction and cant run in a straight line as if you are running thru a snow storm with high winds or 1 step forward 2 or 3 back.....its depends on you computer system!, the higher the better...i recommend a p4 2 gig with at least 1 gig of ram and a good video card....theres alot to explain about the experience but its best to see for your self !! haldir
I rarely ever get lag on CoH/V servers, btw Freedom is the top server, aka most popular. by both games & pay just the 14.95 or 15.00 a month for both, good deal really. Moosey, want a free trail to one of them (can't remember which I have, it's a code that I can send yah, got it when I bought CoV. Also both games can be found new at Wallyworld for as low as 20 bucks. for me it's a good 15 a month, I have one card that I just dedicated just for that game, & I don't even miss that 15. LMK, been wanting to give it to someone on here anyways, ha ha RM
Grimjack
I haven't played it yet (hoping to get it for fathers day)But if its like the others Hitman blood money should be awesome! Far Cry was great, and Neverwinter nights was really good too
Cadaver
need to install the trial I have Auto Assault, that one looks interesting, so maybe this freebee 2 weeks will spark something for it. RM Do trial the game it is fun and very fast, however stay away from the AA forums, lots of trolls, and people who do not understand that MMORPG's take quite some time to work out balancing issues and bugs. All in all I've been playing since the first wave of Beta (Sheesh, It's been almost a year) and I love it, even more than CoH.
haldir
I actually had it preordered from Gamestop, but decide to cancel due to I was out streched in terms of mmo fees & such at the time. I might try to do that tomorrow (day off, hmm wow day off, dad's day pretty cool) RM
Naughty Tentacle Monster
I found Homeworld 2 for ten bucks the other day. I was a fan of the first one, so I gave it a shot. It has good mods too, dowloaded the Battlefleet Gothic, Star Trek: TNG, and the complete Star Wars. Apparently, (I've never read any of the aftermath books) the new Imperial ships after Episode Six get like, retardedly huge. So that's the biggest painting distraction now. -NTM
Durak
Space Rangers 2 Rise of the Dominators. Stupid name but very very addicting, it offers so many gaming levels it is hard to classify as just one type of genre
Star Drifter
I finally caved and bought City of Heroes. Ary may look into playing, too. We both want to play a tabletop Champions game, but neither wants to run it. So, this might be the answer. Anyway, I'll be playing around with it for the next month or so if anyone wants to have a new guy around.

Star Drifter
Well, I think the updates just finished loading. They started just before I wrote that last post. Now I have to make the account, make a hero, and all that stuff. You know, this makes EQOA on the PS2 look a lot nicer. It only took a few minutes at a time to update the game, because you didn't need to update/verify over a solid gigabyte of information. Nevermind. My one minute left just turned into ten, with still no end of this "fix" in sight. It says I have 1.2 gigs of 1.2 gigs, and seems to be waiting for some last little bit of information to come through. But it also says I have over 15 more hours to wait. This is beyond just "bad" or "annoying." (Edit) Nevermind. It went through three minutes after I wrote that. Still annoying.
haldir
the latest update is a big update to the entire game, it adds alot of stuff that wasn't possible to do in previous updates. Also your updating from the first update too the latest as well, so that the reason for the big download to start with. I'd hate to see what WoW would be for me, since I dropped that game about the time the costume/armor update was about to go live (you can see what the item looks like before buying, etc ) I think that was 1.6 or so, they are up to 1.11 I think now. One thing about Coh/ov updates they take awile to materialize, then download but they really add alot to the game once they are live & such. I read somewhere the wings (like Angel) are in the works RM
Star Drifter
Well, I'm learning the ropes slowly. I figured I'd buy the box and have instructions, but found out they're on a pdf file on the cd anyway. Oh well. Right now I have a single character on Liberty, hanging around Galaxy City. Windbraid, a magic/controller type.
Star Drifter
.... and Ary is trying the game out now as "OscillaFrost." She's making jokes about her character's costume. It's.. something. If she likes it, though, then she might get an account for her computer too. Sorry for hijacking this thread. It felt like either doing this, raising another from the dead, or starting a redundant third one.
