It's going to kill me, but I'm going to hold out for the army blister and see what kind of alternate sculpts we get. Tossing these guys in with Guros will be an awesome troop to see on the table. My only guess is that the cost of Flyer and/or Ranger is proportional to a Model's MOV. I always thought that the cost of Ranger was equal to 3 points, but since I was always looking at MOV 6 Models maybe the true cost of Ranger was equal to half of MOV (makes sense that a bigger Ranger move should cost more.) If the Crypt Bat is paying 6 points for Ranger and 4 extra points for Flyer due to MOV 12 vs MOV 8, then I can see where the points are going based on how Reaper has priced other Models (not that I agree with the points costs - the Incubus looks twice as good as the Crypt Bat to me!) Soulcatcha Posted January 2, 2007 Share Posted January 2, 2007 Hi all, have noticed on the elf forum that having just got EAWOD the elf players now speculating on another warlord and obviously dwarves now have their third. While every1 else is entitled to push their points I feel all us DS lovers need to start a campaign to get a 2nd Warlord at least!(dont get me started on big gnarly demons an resculpts although the inccubus!)So roll up guys with thoughts and such, I dont know how about a flyer? even just a bog standard melee nasty be good!
